Question Zongs!

Ok, so lately i have been getting tired of smoking from the same piece over and over, and i saw some zongs advertised in a local headshop by me and was wondering if anyone owned one, and how well do they work? Do they hit better/worse than a bong? With the zig zag design does it make it harder to scrape and clean the piece? These are just some questions i have for anyone who owns a zong and can give me any feedback on whether they are good or bad so i can buy one hopefully soon. Thanks guys!

I used to have one and it was my favourite bong, I was out of town for a week and I lent it to my friend and he broke it of course. It is just like a compressed bong, works the same as a bong. As for cleaning, I never cleaned it so I'm not sure. I only had it 4 months or so.

Cleaning it should be exactly the same as any other bong. Rubbing alcohol and epsom salt.

Sweet guys sounds good! You saying a zong is like a compressed bong, is that good or bad? I have ripped from many bongs in my time and i love the rips you get from them. Hopefully when i get my zong it will hit like a champ. I will be sure to post pictures of it so you guys can see the fancy glass work lol (I'm in the sky right now)

Zong is a brand isn't it? Unless it's just the style of bong, but I was always under the impression that it was a brand name for the zig-zag bongs.

I'm sure he means compressed in a good way. It's like having a tall bong but it's shortened by having the zig-zag. More rip per height ratio.

No you missed the point dude.

A Zong needs no downstem because it kinda curls around with it's zig zags. It's still a water filter but the problem is they are big bubbles. That means less filtration.

420purplehaze420 is an unknown quantity at this point
yes it is a brand name but its become a parachute term for any bong that isnt the common straight up variety.

Ive got one, Canadian made Red Eye Glass it was a $160 after converting it to glass on glass, from oversize. Well worth it, always impresses and has been around for some time.

Its easy to clean the kinks dont get dirty because the water doesnt get up there and when I pour the water out I always give it a rinse or 2, and the base I clean occasionally with rubbing alcohol and salt.

tmayu2 is infamous around these parts
i had a zong about a 2 footer i recomend straight shooters overs zong some people may disagree but a straight shooter clears better and i noticed that the angle in the zongs causes some drags so straight bongs just hit better especialy german roors
