not really a question, more of an observation i made the other day, and sort of a general, what do you do, not what is best.

first off, i was rolling a joint last night for a friend an i, i rolled 2, and the third person i was with was rolling his own, his weed, he wanted to roll, plus he was giving me a little to roll with to add on to the pittance that i had.

So i am rolling my joint/s, and i roll mine, and its tiny, not that it was a small amount, but it is small in size. My friends that i rolled looked pretty much the same, i roll them pretty tight, i would say similar to a cigarette, and thats what i do, they burn similar that is how i can tell. While my friend, uses a bit more than we use, but not much, and rolls this huge, loosely filled, joint, with a flat end, and a twisted end, like bags of bread at the end its twisted.

now i am confident in the way i roll, i like it, and my friend rolls his way, we both rolled joints that were smokable, my 2 smoked rather decently, and his smoked well as well. So we are both right in the way we smoke.

but which do you prefer, a tightly packed, not so pretty looking joint, or a light fluffy one, which has some definite curb appeal?

and what be your reasons. Somehow, ive rolled loose joints before and they burnt unevenly, but somehow his burnt regularly, and without issue, which i didnt understand at first. But he enjoyed it so it bothers me none.

i just want to get a feel as to how you all roll your joints, wether they are tighter, or looser, and i swear, if i had shaken his joint, the weed would have probably rattled around on the inside if i shaked it hard enough.

I roll mine similiar to cigerates I like it to burn evenly. But i have friend that roll some really lose joints that smoke well too.

I roll it a bit loose at first, but then pack in bud on each end so that it turns out to be packed much like a cig and burns the same too. Pack the lighting end all the way to the opening and give a slight twist to close it off to keep bud from falling out. for the inhaling end I pack it so it tapers off 1/8" from the tip so that there won't be much of a roach left.

the end result looks very round, very smooth. I take a lot of time to do it, better to have one that burns evenly and doesn't fall apart in the end, or is packed too tight that ya can't pull any smoke through.

I always roll spliffs, I use king size papers, and put a lefties or scrollies tip in it...no roach=better smoke... I roll em tight, loose j's run IMHO...roll a nice cone with a zig-zagged "filter"...best way to doob...
