Which do you prefer and why.

i prefer clear, glas on glass bongs and pipes. they look more expensive and flashy, you can add more onto them (ash catchers, diffusers, carbon adapters). colored are good because if you cant clean it all the time, it doesnt show the tar as much.

IMO, getting a color-changing pipe is the best of both worlds. You start off with the flashy "clear" glass and embark on a journey towards a unique color scheme. Tar buildup is disguised by the color it produces.

Clean out the pipe, and start the journey over!

yes. tar build up bad. color build up good. glass with the chemically changing schemes are, in my opinion, Very sweet, the best. For a pipe, i would go with something small cuz i want it with me so i don't want to deal with glass on glass for my pipe. all about what YOU want, stop asking us and go get one for YOU
just make sure you're gonna really like the one you pick

i either buy totally clear ones that i keep clean 24/7, or ones that you cant see through at all, so no one bitches about it being dirty. only bummer is a bowl with resin in it stinks and tastes poopy.

for a nice piece, get like a color changer or something. but IMO, theres nothing like a sneak-a-toke. a little cigarette looking bat so you can light up publicly and no ones the wiser

haha i have a colored bowl we call it the octopus and i have never res'd it b4.
haha it looks sweet shot like a cannon. but its prob really bad for me but you look like a bamf when you smoke it that for sure hells yeahs
