Hash.... that's my question. I have smoked hash before but only because i like trying new things. It was awesome but i didn't know exactly what it was. see above for my questions.

....is not an easy process...first you gotta get atleast an oz of bud and stick it in the freezer......while that's doing that you gotta get one of those box lookin dillie ma jiggers that have a screen on the bottom that dinosaur digger up ppl use to sift through the dust.....it has to be really small screen..then after the weed is been in the freezer for about an hour break it up pretty good and lay down a big ass sheet of white paper....then you just sift it for along time......scrape up all that falls onto the white paper into a pile and scoop it into a cigarette celophane.......begin packing it down into a tightwad and fold it over so it's like a lil rectangle and then wrap it tightly with newspaper and tape the whole thing....then stick in the oven at 200 degrees for liek 15 mins....this is a process i saw on a video i got one time so if it's not right dunt ask me but i'm sure that's how you do it...

Its OK, and it isn't as hard as the slypknot phycho dude said. And chris, you can make hash out of any type of bud, but the potency and amount will vary by bud to bud.
First thing you should know is what hash is specificly; its trichomes pressed together. Trichomes are the little white mushroom looking things on buds. Many smokers refer to them as chrstals. This is where almost all of the THC is held, so it would follow that smoking pure trichomes would be much more effective than smoking buds.
It seems you just want to get a little bit of hash, and that is smart for starters. IF you want it right away, I would suggest getting some sort of bubble bags or a hash tumbler. Another thing you can do over time is to get a pollinater and crush up shake in it to get trichomes. If you do this simply with buds it will take a long time and your arm will be SORE I have done it, and it is possible, but i wouldn't recomend it at all.
OK, so lets say you heve collected trichomes through a pollinator or a tumbler. Now get out a credit card or any other plastic thing. If you can get a large plastic scraper this will be a bit easier, but it MUST be thin and smooth. Place the trichomes, or hash powder, onto a smooth cerface. A glass table is great for this. Scrape al of the powder out of the container or tumbler basin and onto the table. Make sure to get everything! now scrape all of this into a small pile. You will need to go over areas alot because trichomes are sticky (this is why people remark how buds are sticky in a positive way). Once in a pile get your card and slide it under it and "scoop" it on t wax paper. Once it is on the paper get your card position over the pile and press, press, press. Do this over and over untill it is firm. And now you have hash.

If you went the bubble bag method you will have wet trichomes, and this is easier to work with. All you need to do is scoop it up with laytex gloves on and roll it into a ball. since it is weat there will not be much stickiness.
