i have a couple plants, they smell so good i just want to rip of some leaves and pack em ina bowl. can i? will they get me high

but the THC content of leaves is only about 3-5% and the content of the buds nowadays is anywhere from like 10-20%

Don't the plants need leaves to absorb light??

Listen to friendowl. The last stretch is always the hardest. Wait until harvest, and make hash out of the leaves.

I've been doing this for the last couple of weeks - since I'm now in flowering, I cut away the big fan leaves both to get the plants closer to the lights and to concentrated the plants' energy in the flowering parts instead of in making the fan leaves grow bigger. In fact, I have some drying right now on my TV. Don't do it just because they smell nice, though.
