I know that bongs and vapos are the best for smoking (for majority of people).
But sometimes we just can't carry around vapos and bongs so we move to joints/blunts or pipes of some sort.
Sometimes we just don't have the time, skill, or materials to make joints/blunts (i suck with them) so we stick to pipes.
Bubblers or sherlock pipes are way too big to hide them in your pocket. So we stick to smaller pipes.

Now that we're in the topic of pipes, I would like to talk about my preference: steamrollers.
It seems to me like they're the best type of a carry-pipe.
I like the way they fill up and being able to take big hits like waterless-bongs do.
I'm looking to buy a cool looking steamroller.
Anyone know a good site for them or have a picture of any?

also please share if you have any other preference on pipes that you can carry in your pocket.
looking for "best/most effective" smoking device (not joints/blunts) that you can carry down a street without people knowing.

I'm into the old time lookin' pipes. the one i have has a big enough bowl to support something like 3 people. I mostly ware jeans, and they have this small pocket on the side of them. Its perfect for pencils, so i put my pipe in there. I can't find a better pipe then the one i have, and the fact that it just slides into that pocket is like a sign that i should take it everywhere...

I have a couple of Bud Bombs, the best are made of brass. If you get interuppted mid-smoke you can put into your pocket still smouldering and it will never set fire to anything because of the way it's made. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I think that sometime soon the site shivadas.com will be offering steamrollers that look like this. Also I have that roor one from everyone does it. Its nice but it is also pretty plain and small, but the price is right.

Shivadas will have an awesome clear galls steamroller that looks so fucking sweet. He posted it at somethingawful forums. Its so sweet looking but anyway its shivadas.com

small glass spoon/pipes are easy to hide. and budbombs are easy too like the guy said earlier

sorry for the stupid question, but don't you use the hole on the bowl side of a steamroller as the carb like you would in a normal pipe or bong? im pretty sure that's how it works, but idk...

You put one hand at the very end, its open, and your mouth on the other end. You light the bowl get a hit than take your hand off and thats the carb.

make an XXXXXL 5-8 foot party steamroller. im sure you can use your imagination on how to make and use it..but ypou need at least 2 ppl

Bowl will only fill up alittle and will hit alittle hard when you let go of the carb.
But Steamroller has tons of room for smoke to fill just like a bong. So huuuge hit.

But from what I've been hearing through this thread, I'm comparing between steamroller and bud bomb.

Steamroller
- can take huge hits each time
- not too expensive
- not very flashy looking
- can take huge hits each time
- RooR makes one

Bud Bomb
- cool smoke that helps you take bigger hits.
- little more expensive
- unique looking
- better to hide and carry
- able to toke and stop and toke and stop.

what would you get?

Mate I know what you want, I got this fantastic wood pipe in Nepal... (where grade A weed grows from the ground everywhere!) and I love it! It has a wooden cone in it as a filter and you just stick a little nug of skunk in it and it gives you a very nice hit.

Very for a little chillout at the end of a hard day when you just can't be bothered. I save a private benz in my draw and this pipe will stretch a benz of skunk a very long way.
