Thread: Obama does a 180 on medical marijuana

Remember the good ole days of not wasting federal money prosecuting medical marijuana industry. Well those days are long gone, back to the draconian days of old.

Hardly a big surprise! The people running the DEA are direct descendents of the people who produced such bullshit as "Reefer Madness". Nobody has EVER died from smoking pot in the history of the world yet thousands of people die from "legally prescribed" medications. It seems like every week we hear about a new class action lawsuit over some kind of drug.

My advice to everyone is grow as much as you can in the next six months.

It's all political BS.... Obama is trying to do things that have gone over well with the majority of US citizens in the past.... Let the DEA start raiding cannabis providers and the outcry of "wrong doing" will come out from the families and friends of the people who's lives have been destroyed because someone in Washington thinks they know what's best for the people of this country.... Cannabis is on the verge of legalization and they know it, they're scared like crazy....

Free thinkers, happy people, no not in this country. We need to keep them miserable so they keep consuming to try to fill that unhappy gap....

Personally, I hope that common sense will prevail.... Cannabis is waaaaaaaaay safer than any other illegal drug and safer than most legal drugs.... Again it boils down to the government wanting even more control over our actions thoughts and abilities....just keeping us from prospering, damn fools....

For Obama to lay out this decree so close to the next election cycle just shows how much he thinks he needs to jockey for position next year. Obama really doesn't need to do anything to get re-elected next year. It would probably be best for him to do nothing and just let the GOP shoot themselves in the foot, I mean they are such a mess right now. They still don't know who they are going to put up against Obama.

I'm curious though about his 180 though. I mean to go out and say medical marijuana should not become a federal issue and then to drop the hammer down on the industry. Obviously he getting pressure from somewhere, but is it coming from polls about the issue or from the DEA itself fighting for it's own self-preservation.

Really makes him the Hypocrite we all know he is...Admits to smoking and even made it to President...Oviously didn't screw him up to bad...Too bad he never got popped with a joint....He would never have been President because of laws he backs. Now that should be a crime!
