Hey all, I'm currently growing joey weed's blueberry x ak-47 in New York outdoors. My problem is that they are 2 ft. tall and 2 days away from the longest day of the year and half of them look as though puberty is starting and one is already a female. I planted the 2nd week of May and was expecting some fairly large hedges. Early is good, don't get me wrong, but June is a little crazy. Does anyone know if this strain has autoflowering parents? I was thinking that maybe due to all of this wet weather and lack of sun perhaps flowering was triggered by stress and I'm hoping with better weather perhaps they'll bang back into veg, but I'm concerned to say the least with the harvest size with such smal plants. Anyone with any info on this strain? Seedbank info is just salesmanship, they make every strain sound like it were god's personal stash, but I'm hoping I can get grower input, or at least some suggestions. I haven't seen a plant flower in june in my 8 years, at least not one I haven't forced. thanks

they are just telling you they are mature enough to start flowering, july-august and you should start seeing actual buds, and not just preflowers

Thanks for the quick response. Perhaps the strain has this tendency, though. I've been seing on other threads ppl have had troube keeping their mothers for this reason, some autoflowering. Maybe it is just preflowering, I hope, but from it's appearance I fear otherwise.

Just roll with the punches, what's the worst that can happen? You still end up with some smoke right? I'd be happy if they flower early. That means I can smoke sooner

Yeah, man, early harvest sounds fine, but I prefer them to to look more like doug firs, lol. The way the weather has been that's not seeming likely.NY's all outta sunshine at the moment. The mold problems are gonna be something else if the rain doesn't stop. Last year was fantastic, need another one of those. Only grew out two females. One was glimmering and smelled like lemon pinesol, the other had almost no crystals but smelled like skunk and packed a punch. Let them leech out all their nutrients til the buds were a bright lime green and the leaves just fell off the branches. mmmmm.
