I'm sure ya'll know about the THC Ministry throughout the world that began in Hawaii. This guy is real smart. He's so smart he even sells a packet you can buy to certify yourself, become an ordained minister, and declare your own religion.
Good idea, except instead of buying a kit, in court I would just say that my religion is based upon opening your mind. You would probably have to come up with a name for your religion, but I would base mine off of Christianity. I read the Bible, Jesus used cannabis in the old testament, God put marijuana here for a purpose, and if he didn't, then why does every organism on the earth besides amoeba's and a few invertebrates and single cell organisms have a cannabinoid system?
Whether you think God made it from the start or that we and all other things somehow evolved to produce the endocannabinoid system, is up to you. The fact is that almost every living thing has receptors that can only be triggered by certain situations or by somehow ingesting cannabis.
You can smoke with a horse and a cow, and get them stoned. You can get rabbits stoned, I think you can even get reptiles stoned, and if that's true then dinosaurs could have gotten stoned. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Point is, the endocannabinoid system is essential for life. Memory is essential for life, sleep is essential for life, well being is essential for life. Cannabis is shown to regulate these things in the brain. The cannabinoid system regulates your mood, rest, recalling past situations. Although we will never understand even a small glimpse into our brains, and the research is ongoing, they think they have figured that much out.

I believe everything is good in moderation, including moderation. I think if all you did was smoke weed 24 hours a day every single day and just sat there, you're doing yourself no good. The fact is, people that smoke herb all the time are usually doing other, exciting things all the time. Marijuana is not like other drugs that suck you in. Marijuana gives you the choice to sit there, go out and do something, go to work, or whatever. Being stoned, you're not stuck there, you are still able to function absolutely perfect, at the same time killing cancer cells and guarding your body and you don't even know what's happening except your eyes getting low and red.
Marijuana has never killed anybody. Marijuana has only done people harm that deserved it in the first place. It's not the government's job to protect us from nothing or ourselves. What happened to the old days when you could go bombing down the road pulling your buddies on a couch behind your truck.
Every year, I notice us Americans are getting to do less and less. A little mischief these days is considered a felony. The government gets to do more, the people get to do less, the government gets bigger and the will of the people get smaller. We can riot, kick and scream, and we still won't get our way. We can do peaceful protests, and it doesn't do shit. I'm tired of being told what to do, how to do it. I'm sick of being told I can't smoke weed in my own house as I'm harming NO ONE. Fuck, I'm not even harming myself.
The government is trying to protect us from ourselves when ourselves don't need protecting. In the next few years we won't be able to shit, walk down the street, or drive without getting scanned, ridiculed, arrested, or persecuted somehow by the government or by other people.

People think they can do anything. Harry J Anslinger thought he could do anything, and he illegalized weed.

I say fuck em all. Freedom of Religion. My religion is Christianity based on Weed. God smoked weed. God grew and still grows weed, so I am too. If I go to court, my religion is how I interpret it and nobody can tell me otherwise. I'm not going to interpret the Koran for a Muslim, they aren't going to interpret the Bible in the courtroom.
Justify your use of cannabis with a made up religion, because it's next to the last freedom we have. Right to bear arms is almost up in smoke, freedom of speech is completely blown, so FREEDOM OF RELIGION...JUST BELIEVE!
