I Hate Hip Hop
Really I dont get it. All that bling shoot you up muth fukken bitch stuff. Sugar Hill Gang rocked, Public Enemy awsome, so where did all go wrong. Any suggestions of stuff I should be listening to that will change my opinion? I used to pride myself in being able to appreciate most music forms, but hip hop today just sucks...same goes for modern r'n'b...

Man I listen to a lot of hip hop. There is tons of good hip hop out there. I think what you are referring to is the shitty mainstream rappers out there like lil wayne and fat joe. There is a lot of stuff like Atmosphere or other artists from rhymesayers that are really good. I could list artists for days but most people like atmosphere's stuff, see if you like it.

eminem is just plain insane lots of good hip hop/rap out there open your ears listen to that ghetto raw rap not the the money getters listen to the real stuff if you cant find anything go on you tube and search tupac <real hip hop/rap
dmx dr.dre snoop eminem pac biggie 50/ahhh kinda and the list goes on

look up celph titled. especially Turntable Science. i too dont like a lot of commercial music of this genre but that works. i also like much of Kanye West's work. not so much 808's, but Graduation isnt all that bad.

IMO that bling bling shit is rap.
