Thread: Going to Nevada w/medical mj card

Does anyone know if i can legaly smoke MJ in Nevada if i carry i California Medical MJ card? Or any other state, like Oregon or Washington?

umm im not sure if its ok or not nevada is still battling the medical nj bad so ide assume my mom has a legal card under an oz is a misdermeaner

thanks, just called nevada agricultural department to find out the low down. no one who is not a resident and holding a card can have medical marijauna. in other words, if i go there with mine, i will get a ticket and pay a fine, if the amount is small enough....hum...to take a chance or not.....not even a question...wont be taking any.

The chances of you getting caught are slim - and if you DID get caught you wouldnt be in any REAL trouble.

Technically you still break the law everytime you smoke, in cali or not, with mmj card or not. It's still illegal.

The only state that recognizes other states MMJ laws is Montana.
All others require local paperwork. Although, many Cali dispensaries will honor other state's paperwork, the local gendarmes may not.
But like LIP said, the chances of getting caught are slim, and unless you're really obvious about it or doing something stupid while you smoke, they'll never know.

ya nevada is a fucked up states with some bullshit laws so use to be a seed will get u 20 yrs but not u can have an oz and over an oz is a felony

its legal to smoke inside your house but not outside or in public and if you get pulled over with a card and smoking they can get you with a dui but nothing about marijuana as a seperate charge. and its only a state law not a federal.but the canches are very slim like they said.

If you were to get in trouble with it which you wouldn't it would be a ticket. Then when you go to court use the medical defense. The fact is you have a medical card so your condition doesn't change because your in another state. So I'm assuming if you don't get a jackass judge it will get dropped. If you even have to see one the DA might drop it.
