If I were caught with a legal amount of weed say under both states MMJ law would my card be considered valid in the state of NM or would I be subject to jail time like a Mexican drug cartel?

your going to get fined that is the punishment here, if your are caught with anything over an oz, you might get more. there is no legal amount here it is all illegal. your card is only valid in CA no where elese in the US.

Actually, Michigan, Montana and Rhode Island have reciprocity built into their laws, so a californian mm patient heading to any of those 3 states would be good to go.

^^ really wow that is weird but ok their you go.

What's really weird is that a card carrier from out of Montana can buy from any caregiver, but a Montana card holder can only buy from the caregiver they are signed up with. (MT has a caregiver/patient system rather than dispensaries)
