Thread: Planning to start growing in Santa Fe area

Hello everyone,

I've enjoyed reading the other posts and familiarizing myself with some of you and with this whole concept of medical marijuana. I grew up in Alaska where laws were relaxed around marijuana and am now in Florida, but moving to Espanola (20 min drive from Santa Fe).

I've just begun entertaining the idea of growing Medical Marijuana and would dearly appreciate any advice about books..training materials...etc. just anything. I'm starting at ground zero.

I am an acupuncturist/herbalist and my husband is from an Ahmish farm family from Holland. He has no experience in growing cannabis, but is extraordinarily gifted in growing plants and will do fine with it I'm sure.

I would also consider joining with another responsible person or group interested in running a dispensary-- again knowing nothing about it, but am intelligent, hard working, honest and just learned that I might actually have a knack for business-- unless I just got lucky (I started and ran a pretty successful business here in Florida).
