Also i got a 150 hps light i know thats a lil bit but how many plants can you grow?
and what kind of food and other products should i use for my plants like organics or whats best FOR BUD PRODUCTION?

Well you can make ice hash by ice and water extraction using a bubble bag kit or make honey oil with butane or make tinctures with pure alcohol. check out www.erowid.org for better directions or other forums. peace

If you want to make hash you will need to get some info. There is a great book that is available at Borders called HASHISH! by Robert Connell Clarke. There is no better source. Also, "Marijuana Horticulture" by Jorge Cervantes is a great book and it has a chapter on hash that will give you the needed knowledge...Both at Borders.

You can make "scuff" by just using a small tupperware bowl with a lid and shaking your bud before you roll it. You can use a screen to crumble up your bud and get some nice hash that way too.

Once you make your hash powder, regardless of the process, you can mix it with butter and make some darn good brownies! The best edible pot buzz I have ever had was from ice cream made with hashed out whipping cream!

Making hash is one of the coolest things that you can do! You dont need to buy the expensive filter bags and all that bull. I use plankton screens from the biology supply house and paint strainers made for 5 gallon buckets from the local paint store. It is a pain in the butt, but if you have a lot of small loose buds and trim you can get a big ol' wad of sticky stony hash out of it instead of feeding it to the rabbits.

I dont live near Albuquerque but I have been to AHL. For many years it was the only grow shop in New Mexico. I think they have been in business for almost 20 years now! I hear they have a new store open out on the NW side of town now too.

There is a brand new hydroponics and lighting store in Santa Fe now too, and yet another opening up I am told. Two more in Taos.

You get it from one of the 5 producers.....either pick it up or they deliver it for a fee.

Hash is easy to make if you do a search on this site you will find butane extraction, and Ice extraction theses are the 2 best hash methods know to date. the easier of the 2 is ICE extraction or icolator. you will need a 220 micron screen and a 70 micron screen and a 25 micron screen, minimum, you will need water and ice, and buckets. very easy, if that doesn't help look on you-tube for Jorge Cervantes Ice Hash.

Butane is weird. I wouldn't advise it at all, but rock adelante bro!

I was in Albucrazy today, at the surplus store on Central. They have several very nice brass seives...The real McCoy... 20 bucks apiece. Cant go wrong and you can use 'em forever. These are scientific and geological seives with brass cloth. They stack one on top of the other and are perfect! They even have some nice round mirrors that you could put underneath and use it as a dry screen. I got me a couple. I am shining 'em up with brass polish right now!

This is how a hillbilly from the mountains of New Mexico does it...

The primary screen or "work bag" is a 5 gallon paint strainer from Sherwin Williams. Get 'em for about a buck apiece and they fit a 5 gallon bucket perfectly. I use about 1/4 of a bag of screened material and put it INSIDE the paint fillter and wiretie it shut. Then just work the bag through the ice water and all the CRAP stays INSIDE the bag. I use a 5 gallon Igloo water cooler so the ice wont melt and all stays cold. Put in about 3 gallons of slushy water. You can wring the bag out once every five minutes or so five or six times...Just like washing a pair of socks. Then let it set for an hour or so and all settle to the bottom. Siphon all of the water through your screens. When it gets close to the bottom use the siphon to vacuum up the sludge at the bottom and take it through the sceen set.

...do it twice or three times. Works like a charm!

The groovy part is that it only costs a few bucks for a couple of pieces of seive cloth. Use Nytex calendared nylon. You can buy it by the square foot from Wildlife Suppply Co. Wildlife Supply Company - Wildlife Supply Company. They use 'em for plankton. Stretch the cloth over an embroidery hoop and it makes a perfect screen.

The size of your screen depends on the size of your trichromes...and the trash that is in them. In the southwest there is a problem with sand and sand is BIG...you get it on the goodie screen. Indica and most indoor trichromes will hang on a 50 um and only trash goes through. Sativa and bud grown in the hot dry sun will pass right through a 50 um.

I use a 210 um, 153 um, and a 53 um. The 153 is a great screen to trim, roll, and beat your buds against for dry hash.

So there! Now go forth and make hash, you scuff smoking deadbeats!

Best advice anybody ever gave me was to by the book. The book's that are talked about above are the one's you want. The bible is the best one I have come across in a long time. I grew up in CA. and have yet to see anything in NM that even comes close to what you can find in CA. But we are trying in NM. Hope soon we can start supplying clones. Clones are much easier to produce then seed's.

No, butane? why?, I kinda of agree but more because the taste is better with a ice extraction, way better. but the oil and buttah that comes from a good BHO Extraction is purtty good. What I am interested in is if the oil is as effective as the oil made from the alcohol extraction that Rick Simpson makes or advertises to make. It is similar, but his oil has more plant chemicals in it, which might be a factor in the cure? I don't know but I hear BHO is better than a Ice extraction as far as being absorbed by the body, which is very key in the Rick Simpson theory. But costs the same, seeing as he use a special alcohol (expensive 50gal. like$700), and good 5x or more Tane is costly too(like $500 for bulk tane and extractor). but in the BHO method the medicine is ready in hours and not days, so the easy factor is a valid thing their. Also BHO is easily manipulated as far as easy to put into a tincture, or, a pill or food, etc. Again I don't know how BHO hash and ISO hash differ as far as a cure but it is a thought. Maybe Ice-O for smoking and BHO- for oral medicine/cure.

Hears a little secret but at this place called Bed Bath and Beyond they have a stainless steel 110 Micron screen perfect for butane extraction with Indicas, all that is needed is a stainless tube or a glass tube and a hose clamp and you got an extractor. the stainless screen is 28 bucks, and can also be cleaned and used over and over. that store is in the mall and the screen is used for coffee or tea or exresso or something like that, but it works really really good for indicas, Sativas I hear a screen close to 90 or 75 micron is better.

What advantage would the butane give you? I really have no idea about that one.

You can use good ol' Everclear grain alcohol to make ticture, or dissolve hash powder right into butter. I have cut a gram of hash in a shot of Everclear and decanted it, and then evaporated the alcohol. I dont know if that is considered honey oil or not but it will darn sure do the trick!

Hash gives me a very lazy "hangover" that next day. Especially when eaten. There is somethign very sedating and long lasting about the hash high. The suite of terpenoids that you get from smoking the whole bud is a lot different experience.

someone said that oil hash is more efficiently absorbed by the body when eaten, then if other types of hash were eaten (again I dont know if this is true, I do know that some people can not eat hash or cannabutter because it gives them a stomach ache oil is supposed to help for this). that is the only advantage, the Rick Simpson method only uses cannabis as a oral medicine, not smoke but consumed by mouth.

also some people say with a butane hash you get a more pure hash, making it really good for oral medicine. Hash is a process in which you clean and collect THC. BHO extraction is one of the most efficient cleaning and collecting processes yet.

But for smoking I like Ice extractions way better, the taste is so worth it.
