My girlfriend has IBS that causes some severe nausea and pain. I had heard about Dr Allen from a friend who had already gotten a recommendation. I have been wary of Medicann so I felt this was best for her. Making the appointment was simple, they were really busy but called back to make the appointment, stated $150 cash and CA ID. The office wasn't hard to find, you can't miss the medical leaf when you pull up.

We brought all medical documents but was never looked at, they never stated though they were needed. The receptionist was really nice, always was making sure everyone was fine while waiting. They do take vitals and inform of the proper ways to use cannabis. There were at least 4 patients but the whole process was very quick and precise. They also take walk in's.

I was very surprised that it was a really laid back environment, easy forms to fill out, and very caring. The actual consultation with the doctor was probably less than 10 mins.

I would recommend this doctor to anyone who is looking for recommendation from a pot-friendly doctor, Dr Allen said that he felt he was doing much more for sick people now rather than his heart surgery days. My girlfriend has safe access now, no more black market!!!!

Awesome man, I've been looking for a doctor and I have stomach pain/nausea as well due to certain allergies to common food items and a sensitive lining.

One thing that has really helped me is cutting out Dairy in its entirety. You should tell your Girlfriend that she should give it a shot, it might help her a bit.

Dr. Toy, from Grass Valley, (also comes to Chico) is an outstanding Doctor, for your Medical Marijuana needs, also ... he ran the Roseville Emergency Ward, from it's origins, until he retired, the man knows his medicine ... be aware, though, he won't even give you an appointment, unless you have a good collection of medical records, etc ... but, he is very respected, even among the LEO bunch ...

I was surprised that medical documents weren't asked for, we had them ready to go no issue. The guy next to us had a high stack of medical files, I doubt he was asked. The forms filled out while waiting, did go over symptoms, how long you've been using, what meds you have used in the past.

The doctor was very creditable just expected it to be more uptight in way!! But very laid back, I thought it smelt like pot in there, but I believe that scent it permanently with me!! LOL Apparently the doctor is a medical cannabis patient as well, can't find the article but just ran into some videos. I'll let my girl know about the dairy Junglism.

From my research the only listing I saw for D. Allen MD is in Los Angeles, did he move recently?

I think that's a completely different doctor Jung!!! Dr. Allen is off of Auburn blvd here in Sac and has been doing this for only a few months. I pass by it all the time to school, I can see the medical cannabis leaf from the street!!!
