post your compost teas and soil mixes

im in the process of brewing up some teas to feed my ladies. i and using 5 gallon buckets with lids(holes in lid ) to brew the tea and a dual outlet airpump to aireate the tea. i usually try to feed with teas once a week usually try for fridays but thats me. my flowering mix consist of half a cup of my soil mixture, 2 tablespoons of the dry horticulture mollasses, 2 heavy tablespoons of high p bat guano (my flowering guanos is a mix of jamaca and indoneasian bat guano). 30ml of floranectar (like sweet), and 5ml of flourisious plus. and 1 tablespoon of seaweed/kelp product

my veg mixture is the same except for using a high n bat guano (i use mexican bat guano) at 2 normal tablespoons.

i like to add some blooming addatives to the mix on a seperate tea brewing cause i dont want to raise my ppm too much as i have before.

my soil mixture contains 1 40lb bag of composted manure and humus and to that i add 1 15lb bag of ewc's, 1.5 small bags of perlite(get at walmart), 1 cup of peruvian bat guano 10-10-2, 2 cups of horticultural mollasses, .5 cup of seaweed/kelp product, some subculture and some mycorrhizea

I know you're talking about teas, but until i get my witches brews (as dutch pimp calls them) down to a T, i don't want to share too much, besides bringing up the simple yet effective technique of just aerating your water for a good period of time (lets sat 6 hours?) before you feed your ladies. A simple fish tank pump, and air stone( I use an air rod cut down to the exact size of the bottom of my water container, which is a 16 gallon trash can) mix in your ferts/food/guano/pixi dust as well as you usually do, and then plug in the aquarium pump. you will mix your plants food more throughly then before, and the tiny bubbles help get some O2 to the roots, which they love. Your plants will thank you by reaching for and taking in more light.

Normally, my soil consists of roughly 50% mushroom compost (or another quality nutrient-rich compost), 30% perlite, 10% black peat, and 10% of other additives (like blood/bone meal, earthworm castings, etc.)

I don't need to fertilize much because of the organic goodies in the soil, but I do make organic "teas" when I need to fertilize. I like to take about 1-2 ounces of guano and stick it inside a net stocking, then I let the stocking soak in a five gallon bucket filled half-way with very hot water. After about an hour, I'll fill the rest of the bucket up with cold water and fill milk jugs with the contents. Bear in mind, this is to water sometimes ten or more 5-gallon buckets...so you may not to need make quite as much.

Bat guano is one of my favorite flowering fertilizers, and I've used everything from Nitrogen-rich guanos to fish emulsion for veg. In about a month or so, I'll be giving an organic fertilizer called Rainbow Mix Bloom a shot. It'll be my first time working with Mychorizae fungi, too...so I'm hoping for the best!
