Oh and I have a little gaurd in my veg room. He's a green tree frog. He showed up after we got back and I expected him to leave but since I had a bunch of flying insects in there I just left him alone. I loose track of him from time to time but then there he is bright green hanging onto a branch in the WR mother, or other times he's climbed up the white walls and has changed grey to blend in. I put a dish of water in with him and slowly the bugs dissappeared. Now I have a bit of a problem. It's too cold outside for him to be able to find a good place to hibernate before he just slows down and eventually freezes in his journey, but he needs food. So should I take the chance and find a log to put him under or put him on the compost heap and let him crawl in and find a warm spot for the winter, or should I just run to the petstore and grab some crickets or mealworms to throw in a dish for him from time to time? Any ideas? I kinda like him and he really likes my lights. Oh I know there are ants in the flower room will he eat those, should I put him in there? Oh and year round I have spiders all over that garage. I think I just like him because he didn't run away like all the leopard frogs I put in there did.

Put him on your compost pile about an hour or two after the sun comes up.
He'll dig himself or herself a hole for the winter. I have a ton of frogs and toads in my yard most of them love my compost piles. Occasionally I'll go out have a beer or smoke a bowl and watch them eat the bugs crawling on top of my piles.

I have tons of misquitos in my veg room, but I haven' t seen him for about 2 days(normally I only seen him every 2-3 days) Do you think he will eat them? I really think I'd like to grap meal worms from a pet store and feed him all winter. I thought about crickets but fear what they might do to my grow. If someone were to tell me it's best to let him go I would, but I'd really like to keep him, or hibernate him in my fridge. But I do have tons of leopard frogs around do you think if I put one in my room he would take care of the misquitos? They are really poissing me off.
