To Get You up to date
(Medical Marijuna Grow)

- started seeds feb. 23

-- about thirty (i can have 24 in vedge and 12 in flower) came up, so some that came up late or looked punney were plucked.
-- light is a bank of like eight long floresent, lots of lumens (15 hours light/9 hours dark)
-- fan put on them to keep temps at around 74 degrees (as i understand that temp to be the right range to get mostly females)

- they were started in jiffy pellets, then transfered to peet pots (this step i will not do next year, as i tried putting jiffy pellets into gallon containers last year and they grew lots bigger faster)

- i have all of them in gallon containers at about five weeks, culled out the small and male.
- - at about this time i got three Sugar Granddaddy Purple and one Amethyst clones.
- - now five Purps from BC Seed company
- - one Mango
- - one Rob's Kush
- - one male Purps (in flower now, for seeds to a female that is with him not counted above, in another room.
- - one more clone of the Sugar Grandaddy Purple, much smaller than the first ones.
------and five outside purps that are being tortured, by being outside in the cold.

*average last frost here the end of May, when the others will be going out*

Did some cloning the other day, so now i have a tray of some clones to go with the above plants.

this is my second medical MJ grow, my husband has always had a plant or two around during the summer. Otherwise i have only grown one year, i have Cervantes book, "Medical Marijauna Growers Guide", and read that when i have questions, and come to places like this and read.

Okay, let me see ---

1. the plants have moved outside, out two weeks ahead of schedual. Due to a mild forcast in the weather here for those two weeks. It went well, (record highs for this area) cept about half went into flower, which is okay with me. So we will have some harvesting and some just going into flower at the same time.

2. most of the plants have grown five to seven inches since going outside. they went out on the 8th of May.

3. Got a cloner! Tho did clone some into dirt a couple weeks back and got 4 to root, they are now outside. And i have some clones started inside.

4. the temps outside this week have been a little cool for the girls, but have not gone under 43 degrees.

5. the female i pollenated is below and my avatar, it is the Amethyst + NL from seeds made last year, it now has Purps from BC seed co. pollen making seeds.....so the seeds will be will be amethystNLpurp, i guess. The buds have been showing light purple for a week or so now. Not from the cold either, this is all the way thru.

The cloner has me excited, i put some mango, some Purps and one Sugar Granddaddy Purple in it and hope to be planting them in a week or less. This is something i know nothing about as i have always been buying clones or making them in soil. This should be fun.

wont be postin the pics right now as there are some kind of log in issues. will try agian in a few minutes.

Okay Mods, what is up with uploading pics???? why am i always directed to log in, when i am logged in. i sent the info to the Administrater yesterday, that this was happening, could you please reply here? or is it just me, i seem to be able to upload pics at other sites.

1. Got a ezcloner, this is what the girls look like under the dome. Nice set of roots on most, they are under a light inside.

2. The first girls put in soil, after bout a week in the ezcloner.

3. An amethyst in bud, this plant was put outside in April, it was kinda cold then for her. She is about two feet tall and has bud all up her stalk. Kinda looks like a xmas tree.

4. Amethyst plant that i pollenated, should be ready in three weeks. this is a beautiful picture, to bad it would not load.

Thank you for noticing my humble effort here.

As for that little plant that looks like a Mini Xmas tree, i did nothing different, it is the same age as these plants i am posting down here. Tho it did go outside a month and a half earlier than the ones posted below. It was covered, and the temps didnt fall to freezing very often, outside.

yesterday i took the plant i had pollenated on April 23, and from the seed i looked at, it looks like i will have a few dozen seeds and some very nice smoke. The trichs were over 50% cloudy and maybe 10% amber. Amethyst/NorthernLights + Purps by BC seed co.

Below find two Purps plants, one Amethyst (the lil bush), and one of Rob's Kush. And the bud i took yesterday.

These two were put outside at the same time in April. These were covered each night with a plastic box. the one is budding like a xmas tree, and it is less than two feet tall, the other one, has very dark buds (purple) and the short one has green buds so far with white hairs.

i dont know why the last pics i posted were fuzzy. But i am not complaining, they posted and i am happy.

beautiful garden inbud. You must be up in the mountains if you have a short grow season in CA. Mine is pretty short here as well. I am keeping my fingers crossed that some of my girls stay in veg for a bit longer. Wherever you are about when does the flower cycle kick in?

Dont come here much, as you can tell.
below find pics taken on July 18, the one of the first flower, the last pic was taken on July 29 i think.

We have had huge amounts of smoke from the fires here in Northern ___, and the plants seem to be doing alright, but i would have perfered them to get bigger before flowering.
All but one or two are in early flower now. The first to flower were the oldest plants. All of the inside seeded plants have gone back to vedging. i have taken the xmas tree and will post pics of it and one other plant i harvested since i last posted here.
