My Single Plant Outdoor Grow.(bagseed)

This plant had a really bad start in life but is now picking up well , just praying my 50/50 gamble goes the right way,

I started this plant back in late feb and all this growth is since a month ago so I defo wont start so early again, the first pic was taken on the 25th June and the last was taken on the 13th July

The preflowers are big but I'm still unable to tell the sex (my opinion changes by the minute) will the hair come out of the preflower or from behind it? , also the preflower wraps around like a cone and is pointy and looks white inside as it wraps, Is this any indication?.

I've only grew a plant before and that turned out male, more pics on the way but the camera on my N95 has no manual focus so preflowers may be fuzzy.

thanks laters.

Update.

Any old timers with bad eyesight should be used to sexing plants with that kind of focus , any ideas? (i know too early),

"Plant" as he's sorry she's (bad omen) affectionetly known is roughly 20 inches (thats a joke I know it to the millemetre) and is growing at a rate of 1-2 inches per day.

So whadaya think?

Looks good man, what size is that pot? Maybe transplant it into what you're going to want to end it in, 5 gal or so? Can't tell the sex but from personal experiance the hairs become extremely obvious on the ladies.

size of pot

You say gallons I say litres, but I'd say its just over 3 gallons,

I was contemplating the ground but with the U.K. weather not the best later on in the year (now even) I think I will stick to the pot , would you advise me to repot or will the one I'm using be adequate ?.

Oooh, pretty pot. Is that Tuscan? I love clay pots, you just can't overwater with them! Here's something you could try... You could just plant a plastic pot or a large bucket with the bottom cut out, and then when you need to take it indoors once the weather gets bad, you just pull it out of the ground. You just have to be careful about the bottom when you do it. The root mass should keep it all together.

cptcannabis advice

Thanks cpt for the advice I may try it out when she starts flowering but my plant looks so happy in this one I'm afraid to mess around with it too much now ,
nice pot yeah but I move it around to keep it in the sun and my back is aching , but once it flowers I'll stop moving it about.

Does anyone know what affect green fly or black fly have on cannabis plants?.

8ft I wish lol,

wish I had a greenhouse , I built a mini greenhouse one day when I was stoned and ended up just banging bits of wood together , its now falling apart and my plant has quickly outgrown it.
I've got some old tent poles which I may turn into a poly tunnel next year when I buy proper outdoor seeds.

good to hear from a brit also busybee.

update

My plant is now 24 1/2 inches (just over 2 feet) and its all going well, no sign of sex yet and I'm thinking about force flowering this because I'm a bit worried about the flowering length but I'll probably sit it out and let it do it's own thing.

Found a small maggot looking thing in the top of my plant the other morning and got rid, I've noticed the new leaves are coming out a bit chewed up so I got the little blighter at the right time before it did any serious damage.

By the way I got this seed out of what I was told it was thai stick but I think whoever grew it seeded the batch by accident and just told people it was thai stick, it did have cotton wrapped around it though but was shit smoke. that is why I'm worried about the flowering period because thai's take a long time , the leaves do look sativa to my untrained eye.

do sativa's generally take a long time to flower?. , I read somewhere that thai's can take upto 5 months to fully flower.

I'm thinking the longer it take to flower the more chance it's a female but on the other hand I want it to flower now so I can get it finished before the worse of the weather comes.

British weather is very hit and miss at the moment, but my plant seems to be enjoying it.

Yes i'll probably end up with it indoors later on thats why i've resisted putting it in the ground.i just hope we have a freak year(i remember a few years ago it was still hot in december). Anyway i'm hoping the forecasters have it right and we get a scorching august.

quick update

Ok no pics because my plant hasnt changed much since last photo because the weather has been terrible lately , thick cloud cover and hour on ,hour off heavy rain.

I found a few leaves rolled up like joints the other day couldnt really open them with my fingers so i grabbed a knife to prise them apart, the culprit was a cattepillar who came scurrying out trying to escape so i threw him in water ,I went out a couple of hours later and he was still alive on top of the water , so i spared his life (gimme some good kharma).

Pics as soon as this damn British weather picks up.

THC laden catepillars, theres an idea. lol

bit of a accident today , I put a board of wood(windbreaker) by my plant because the wind was bending it a bit too much but when I checked on it the board had fell over taking my lowest side branch with it ,I thought about taping it up but it was literally hanging by a thread so I luckily had some rooting powder and put it into a pot with a plastic bottle on top. I could of binned it but what the hell.

update

Well the hot weather is back FOR NOW.

My plant is bushing out a lot more height growth seems to of slowed (due to poor weather I think), still no sign of balls or hairs , I had a snail attack a couple of nights ago but not too much damage luckily.

these latest pics include my emergency job clone from last week and if anyone knows what caused these perforated marks on some new leaves I would be grateful (bugs me thinks).

Good Growin All.

take a closer pic of the branches where they come off the main stock so right in that crocth but closer to the top of the plant , males usually show nuts by 13 or 14 weeks of growing how long have you had it growing ?? it looks female to me i think i see a hair but i need closer pics, like an inch or two closer with your camera in those last pictures and we might be able to tell you what it is but im not 100% sure but just try and take abunch of pics and get one thats focused so its better for us to see please and thank you man

thanks for the help dackman these pics are no better but the first is the best shot of a preflower I could get on my phone (why is it when the camera clicks its perfect on the viewfinder then comes through blurred after processing) does anyone know what distance you hold the camera on macro setting?.

I'm a bit worried about the lowest fan leaves are yellowing and drooping, is this normal going into flowering?

thanks all.

(Oh this has been growing since March but I only had noticable growth in June/July)

Problem solved I watered my plant well last night and there is a noticable improvement this morning with the fan leaves pointing out rather than down.

quick update

When will this end (Begin), after my watering problem she has started shooting up again (please forgive me plant) ,this plant is sucking up a lot a water now and my 3 gallon pot may not be adequate but it'll have to do .

Been a bit windy this week and my heart has stopped a few times when I've found things fallen on my plant (Advice-only use well secured windbreakers because if they fall over you'll be sorry) It's hard though when you see the top of your plant nearly bending in half, but these things are tough and can usually cope, and I've got away with just a little bending.

my cutting is going well under extra light after dark.

New pic is my girl in her new home , how long until she outgrows this one?.

Hopefully a better update when I have the good news.
