OK...so I've been flushing my white widows for two weeks as of today. I will be doing a trichome check this morning via my portable scope. I have one question.....should the majority of the trichomes be milky white, or should I hold out to see just a tad of amber color. Now remember, I'm talking trichomes, not hairs! Any inout woould be so appreciated....my girls are 4 months old and so pretty. But OMG I don't want to chop them too early!

if u ask me man trying to chop based on tric colour is very hard as different parts of the plant will be ripper than others!

the cloudier the wee gems look the heavier the stone and the more amber /clear then its more of a high stone . ITS UR CHOICE MAN

for me when most of the white hairs have changed and the bud starts to puff out would be when id chop .....the buds start to sparkle

Actually, it's the other way around my friend. The more amber your trichs are, the more "stoned" you'll get and the more milky white they are, the more "high" is what you'll get. The longer you let it wait, the heavier body stone you'll get out of it.

Test a few different spots on your plant and if one part of your plant is at the right ripeness for your liking, just take that portion of the plant and let the other part run a little longer. Tons of people do that.

i know a lot of people that like to chop when they are all milky, seeing as it's white widow, they want it to actually be white. again, personal preference.

if u take a look at a living plant then u will find that all the trics are at different stages and for anyone to choose when to chop is a personal chioce ...the colour of the harvested plants that ive harvested in the past are chosen when to come down when they look ready..(i dont need a microscope to see that)but i do have one!

look bringing up how long ive been in the game has no relivence to the Q.


wot ive found is there is alot of people that say they know this and that but u find after time they know very little.....just because there is very little pictures in my gallery does not mean i have nun....i just dont need to share my stuff with all the world


also when thc has started to change from clear to amber the optimal thc point is just before they turn amber now that means at 15%/25% would Be WHEN I CHOP ....REMMEMBER THC DEGRADES TO CBN/CBD thats wot gives u the heavy stone...most growers prefer the up stone

Yes, you have to check the plant from top to bottom, though I've had little variety with my indoor plants at full maturity. I have waited for some plants to go more amber just to compare. If it were possible, I'd cut at 100% cloudy and not wait any longer for the trichomes to age. But nothing is ever 100%. As long as the plant looks fully mature, most new pistil growth has stopped, older pistils are drying up and the trics are not clear (well, not very many anyway) it's ready to harvest. Years ago before I knew they invented microscopes I'd harvest the same way, except for the trics, of course.

well it looks like you still have those panties in a wad! how long you are growing is not exactly relevant, but giving the wrong information is! the question about length of time was more of a WTF? if you've got 10+ years and what you stated what you did then it would have been an issue.

since it was a simple mistake, then so be it. no one pulled your punk card so calm down.

no one said anything about your pictures or lack there of. and i think that you can tell by my posts that i have an idea of what is going on with these plants of ours. i'm by no means an expert but i have a firm grasp on the theories involved and a bit of experience to boot.

again, no one is pulling your punk card. this is a tight-knit community that has fun while holding others accountable. no one is gonna let you pass with bad advice or info.

i like the way ur not to the point but u are and again bringing up how long ive been in the business..... if u read wot i put i answered the Q but stupidly put that dribble after it . now i didnt check the post for a bit and when i did i changed it!easy mistake ............still nothing to do with how long ive been in the business!

ITS not like i told him to take off all his fan leaves ......

come on man give me a break ive loads of peace and love but choose who gets it!

the reason why some times dribble can happen is because i dont cut and paste like most of the online community....wot i wright is all from experience
