    Question Possible to "Over water?

    Hello again folks,

YEP, gonna bother ya with a question..

Living in a desert, at about 6300' elevation, with temps averaging about 90'ish with relative low humidity and the "soil" typical desert, is it possible to "over water" my girls? I usually water in the evenings right before sunset and give em a good soaking, sometimes even in the AM depending on how "dry" the soil looks, I may water then also AND in the evening. They seem to be doing well, each are about 5' tall, a healthy green.

Do they look ok so far?

The "garden rake" is 6' so I placed it there for a reference and is stuck about 2 inches into the ground

Sorry if this has been asked before.Possible to "Over water?-2012-girls-garden2.jpg

Way possible to over-water! It causes necrosis which can come from over or under-waterin'...

I think they look fine! It is possible to over water.. It causes necrosis.. Even under watering can cause the same affects! Ya kinda a bit late for toppin'... Maybe pinch the top outta the 2? Outdoors.. They need water... But too much water can wash or flush away your nutes.

So sorry for the double post! I thought I was in edit mode... Cannabis! Ya gotta LOVE it!

Plants look good. I would get rid of that metal siding though and use a dark mesh material around the sides if concealment is a problem. That metal is going to get hotter than shit in the sun and make that garden much hotter than it would normally be. Plus you want as much air circulation as possible.
Generally if you over water the leaves will give a claw appearance. If its under watered the leaves just get droopy.

Larry, i would consider "building" a moisture retainer ON TOP of your "Flower beds"; i.e using Nursery products that RETAIN moisture, and yes if soil has slow drainage; clay, etc, you can easily overwater; since i now have an indoor grow i "measure" my H2O and Nutrient very carefully, plants can easily get overwatered inside!
