haha young thats kinda funny =P i came upon something like this and i was only 10 years old and i thought it was natural =\ but it ended up being 1 of my friends plants haha i told him about and he took it back. to get proof it was his i had him take me where it was. xD but in the end it got mold on the buds from nasty weather =\ rain humidity =\ it was really gross on halloween day when it was time for him to harvest ill never forget that day =\

Well it looks like it's ok to shoot & kill someone stealing your plants, at least in California anyway: Man not Charged

So far anyway...they may come back and charge him yet still. Sorry about someone dying but this just shows how stealing someones plants can have serious repercussions.

I would do the correct thing... Run to your house, grab a jar, some rooting hormone, some soil, and a clean blade! Go take a few clones that they won't miss and add them to my garden! (Just watch out for bugs)

Yeah that's just about as far as I would ever go with it. Still not the best but meh, in the end, taking clones off lower branches does not reduce yield.

I was growing a plant outside one time and to come by one day to see that some anti - drug guy was jumping on my plant and killing it. Well I wasnt really growing it ,well sorta.. it was a experiment to see how big I could get a plant in a park where many people go to.. It actually made it to about 1 foot tall then that fucker started stomping on it... that would have been a legenedary story to tell if that plant made it to harvest

i know how it feels to have a crop stolen. id never wish it on anyone. 2 years ago i had 10 plants stolen from me. if i found someones plants id take a cutting for a cloe if it was good stuf and grow my own and never tell anyone, not even the grower that i was there. if i seen someone by my plants id be all sneaky and shit n spy on em to see if they're a cop and if they werent then shit we'd blaze down son. but if it was a cop id beat his ass.

As a matter of fact I was in Kosovo about a 3 years ago when I was in the Marines and I found a bush about 3ft tall and about, what seemed like, about 12ft in diameter when I was patrolling during my watch. I didn't tell anyone. I knew some of my Marine buddies would fuck with it and our resting site was about 30ft away, so I didn't tell anyone. Hopefully whoever was growing it appreciates my decision to keep it on the DL.

ya this season i got my shit stolen we had about 7 nice ass plants. we had huge ass buds on our early flowering northern lights plant in june. the other 6 were just getting there buds and were about 4 or 5 foot tall. one day we went out there and they cut all of them down and left just little stumps. i don't even know why they cut down the ones that didn't even have nice buds. and why they did it in june? i don't know

this up coming season i am planting in many many spots. about 10-15 per spot just in case my shit is found i have some back ups

real nice of you to leave it but i must say it was probably a wild bush if ksosvo is one of them eastern europe/rusia type of countries cos in them places it grows wild beacause it was legal for longer i believe and they didnt destroy it so well when they criminalized it, i know people in eastern europe that grew it legally for cow medicine and thread not 40 years ago and i hear some people still grow fields of hemp on farms, couple of years ago i bought a large bag of leafs, seeds and stems for about 2 quid (in eastern europe) from some kid who cut down a bloody wild bush lol no bud but i didnt really have hte knowledge than, smoked hte leafs, and some seeds lol, gave away many seeds to potential growers, from what i know not many survived to be harvested lol anyway i writing all weird now lol

So when you stumble on a plant in the woods, remember that as a toker, you are part of this community. Just leave it there for the person who grew it.

i agree if i came across a bunch of plants i would take a bit but i wouldnt take it all or destroy the plant that is totally out of order

If a bunch of plants is as important to you as your first born you have an attitude problem. There is an old saying in the outdoor grow world, plant three, one for the cops, one for the rippers and one for you. The way I look at it the more people growing the more the cops are diverted from my grow. Leave it alone and grow your own, it's easy.

It is just plain impolite to mess with somone elses grow ALWAYS leave it alone. However if you have a backbone and truly feel that to grow is everyones right i see no harm in leaving a note with either your e-mail or phone number (someone has to take the first step) so that you can meet a grower in your area. Meeting some of the locals opens up a great opportunity to meet some locals and share genetics with some local like minded types and they should probably be advised that there grow is easy to find. Over the last few years i have had some plans stolen and it is a shitty feeling, I always like to think of pot smokers as being decent types and morally a bit above the rest of society but unfourtunatly loooking at the pattern of thefts i have seen in the past a lot of smokers are no better than the rest of the selfish bastards out ther and this makes me sad. last year my biggest loss was a bunch of plants that i was using for seed production for the local med pot growers org. and this shows to me that they both knew nothing (seeded pot can't be a treat to smoke) and cared for no one other than themselves. ok i am rambling a bit but the bottom line is respect your fellow pot growers.

dude people don't be shady... My friend was growing some and he was just a few weeks from harvest and he got ripped off. They took his best plants too. They took two good and left his two bad. Don't rip someone off. Instead if you see it growing order some seeds and grow more with him. and one day when youre watering your plants you may stumble across eachother and becom growing buddies.

part of the growers job is to find a well hidden area for them. if your just wondering around woods and find them then the grower failed at his job. ive grown outdoors away from my home and took the time to make it a pain in the ass to get to, so that no1 would go there unless they had a cash crop waiting for them. i would never go into someones yard and steal their plants, however if i stumble onto a crop in the woods ill keep track of it till its ready to harvest and jack that baby. would i be upset if that happend to me? of course, but then again i would have learned to take more time in finding a secure grow spot.
