what is happening to the world?
While back I was talking to a friend of mine that works for dyfys (child protective services) and she was telling me that she couldn't believe some of the complete bullshit she gets sent out on, and wanted to know where the hell were they when she was gettin her ass whooped as a kid.
So yesterday I found out what she meant by complete bullshit. DYFYS shows up at my house, and why? They got a call about my 5 y/o's personal hygiene. Take in mind every single day my morning schedule for the 5 y/o is as follows, wake him up and send him into the bath which is already running by the time I wake him, after the bath i give him a clean pair of clothes and send him to the kitchen where breakfast is waiting, after that walk him to the bus and off to school he goes..
So what is matter of being concerned about poor personal hygein you ask?
Well couple Mondays ago I get a call from the school that my son has stepped in dog poos and they removed his shoes for the remainder of the day and that I should clean his shoes when he gets home. So he gets home, and it isn't dog poo on his shoes. Night before I had brought my kids Apple picking, and I guess he stepped in some stuff at the petting zoo.
Also, my son has a yellow hoody, it is his fav, he likes the color yellow a lot. It is a lil dingy but hell, if it is jus a lil brisk outside I let him throw it on, what does it matter, he just wears it up to the point he gets into the classroom..
So anyways.. this is the basis of the call and they actually sent someone to my house for this shit? Taxpayers $$ @ work??
