Good one Italiano, thanks. Will edit that into my copy, or into it's own post if there's still an interest. Hydro never get's straight fresh water unless to correct a problem, right...? Quantity of runoff when watering/feeding came to mind also.
I guess it could get too complicated if worried about the minutia, but am seeking the perfect troubleshooting form, lol. Any additional imput or suggestions is/are welcome. I'm not trying to step on anyones toes, just trying to make it a bit easier to follow the troubleshooting form.

I am one my 3rd day of bubbleponics and am having problems from the get go.
second day of production i woke up to my ressi full of foam and the pump was barley working. does anyone know what causes this? Also i noticed my ressi water was stinky. what would cause that to happen. my ph level was 6.8 but now is 6.4 and slowly dropping do to ph down i put in today. I also live on well water is that good to use? My plant are starting to turn yellow at the bottoms and are drooping more everyday. Could i get some help or a push in the right direction. lights i am using are 2 cfl 46 watts and 2 led 56 watts. |

This isn't a troubleshooting forum, it's the troubleshooting form. Try copying and pasting the appropriate form to your new post in the Plant Problems section, answer the questions, and someone will be with you shortly.

rusty, how about method for checking if your plants need water in the soil section? i know this might be a bit much.
also, in the hydro section, how about res temp? that's the only things i saw. i think it's awesome. sorry i didn't know your were gonna make one or i wouldn't have started another thread. what about lighting schedule and and color spectrum? the spectrum might be a bit nit picky. just trying to be productive. if i said something that's there i just missed it and disregard. -shake

Great troubleshooting form rewrite. I can see that a novice (or non-native English speaker) might find it easier than the coded form.

Since I had a couple of days of free time lately, I came up with these revised* troubleshooting forms. (one for soil, one for hydro)
If you would kindly copy the appropriate section, (hydro or soil...not both) and post it into your own thread, and answer the questions. The answers you provide to this form will help other's to get the full picture, and be better able to diagnose the problem. Answer all questions as best you can. Missing answers may lead to an inaccurate diagnosis and treatment plan. Good luck to ya... ( * with all due respect to stinkyattic) Soil Grows - Peat Based What is your experience level? Answers in bold would be nice, too. Easier to scan the list. But if history is any indication, it'll get filled out many different ways. Sort of a quasi Rorschach test, lol. Quote:

Umm...I personally don't mind, but I'd ask a mod before doing so...I guess. Seems it would be the right thing to do.

Res temp is L. on the list, but no...didn't do the ph'ing the rockwool one.
Am curious why FBR never answered my request for guidance regarding this project. I asked him a couple of times if and how I should approach this, but nada.. I wonder...do I take his silence as acquiescence or disapproval...? Has anyone with outdoor experience put any thought into the outdoors form?

Thanks for the assist folks, it's appreciated.
Ok...how's this one? I think I included everything mentioned. The only way for me to accurately post one for outdoors, is to look online and steal some ideas to construct one, or, if someone here has a few spare moments and would like to participate by outlining what the content should include...All appropriate credit will be given, or, y'all can post it y'alls self, lol. (but I'd practice here first for additional imputs): Soil Grows - Peat Based What is your experience level? (first timer, novice, experienced...) Your Equipment: .1) Type and wattage of lights.
