Yellowing Lower leaves and brown spots

Have a few seedlings whose leaves are starting to yellow/develop brown spots. I'm pretty sure its a pH problem(just got a meter and had been watering with 7.5 ph water). Did a runoff test and the pH was around 7.4. Runoff water was a yellowish color. Flushed with 5 times their volume in water and could only get it down to 6.8. Anything else I can/should do? Thanks for the help

I have the same problem& could use some help. After checking for overfertilyzing -burn- I checked for deficiancy. I think it might be Magnesium or Boron. I plan to get some epson salt & see how that helps. Let me know if you have success & I will do likewise.

Yeah they are only a week to a week and a half old seedlings, so I didint have to worry about over fertilization. Its definitely a deficiency, think in my case the high pH levels were locking out nutrients. Heres a few pics, Ill post some in a few days to show progress.

Arrow old leaves brown & burn't

Leaves look just like mine, when they get older they all start to curl and become brittle. But the funny thig is that it is only a few? like 2 out of 10 and they are always the lower leaves. I mixed up 1/2 teaspoon of epson salt & watered. The next day (today) I foliar fed. We will see....let me know

Moonbeam, you're going to lose your plants. Never give seedlings anything, and please don't recommend to others to do that. Also this is a threadjack- start your own thread.

To the OP- your plants look like they will make it, and you are correct that poor pH would cause that. The new growth you are seeing looks much better. From here in, adjust your water pH before you give it to the plants, and that should fix you up nice. 6.8 is a very good place to aim for.

They are not seedlings - over a month & half old. I plan to put them outside & sexed them out inside. I have to look back at my post...of course one shouldn't fert. seedlings, I learned that the hard way.
