First time grower here...I think I might of overwaterd or underwatered...I don't know...please help. I have 9 indoor plants in seperate pots n soil sitting in a 13 gallon round gatrbage can with a hole in the side blowing air in from a fan. there is a 6" hole on the top for hot air to escape. Im using water from an artesian well mostly. Sometimes tap water but I let it sit 24hrs. I have only one CFL for now at 27w. when they sprouted I screwed up and was doing 12/12 light for the first 4 weeks, they are on a 20/4 light now for at least a week. It was like 4 weeks and the leaves started turning yellow and feel limp not crisp. they started from the very bottom leaves and start going up to the next leaves then the next. is it over watering or underwatering?

Fill out the trouble shooting form that is a sticky in the forum, that will help a lot with getting to the root of the problem.

How far do you have the light from your plants? What size pot do you have them in? Do you have good drainage for your pots?

Im not very good with how strong of light CFLs produce, but I think you might need another light or two...

Yeah, the light is an issue...I have to wait till my next payday to buy a proper setup then they will have enough lite. the pots have drainage and i keep the only light I have abput 3" from the plants. originally the pots didnt have any drainage and then the leaves started turning yellow so i drilled holes in all the pots and water ran out of them which is why my first impression was that I over watered due to no drainage.
