basically i would say they are overwhelmed with that high grade soil for the most part, you should not have them in foxfarm until they are at least mid veg from what i take it, i havnt ever used it myself and im a new grower just like yourself but if i were you i would transplant them into something a bit more welcoming for now

this is very similar to the problem im experiencing, and im not going to make my own thread yet if i can find the problem someone else is experiencing...

Instead of foxfarm im using happy frog, they are 2-3 weeks old and are working in their 3rd node but its really slow(when comparing to other ppls pics my plants seem they should be on their 5-7node), the cotlydon is pretty much yellow with grey spots and the first node is beginning to get discoloration on the edges of the leaf while the entire leaf is yellow, one of my seedlings, is yellow w/ grey splotches, but the first node is folded down and its basically not growing.

i have some younger ones that are still working on their first node and are looking good as of still, but im worried... i dont know the PH of the water but its tap water. I dont know exact temps, or humidity... i dont have an intake fan but i do have a fan on the plants, i go in there every 8-16 hours so they get fresh air then... i assume they aren't big or old enough to need more fresh air yet, and i do plan on getting proper ventilation as time goes on and they get bigger.

Your pH is a little high. Filter your tap water and flush the plant until your run off pH is around 5.8

A lot of people use FFoF soil from seed. I don't know much about light warrior though

WTF, dude, runoff pH 5.8 would KILL your seedlings in a soil grow. I've already brought up your bad advice...

It's just the FFOF being too harsh as was mentioned earlier.

You can flush it slightly with plain tap water, and pH in fresh soil is not going to be a problem in almost ANY case. Plants usually grow out of overfert that they suffered as seedlings if you catch it in time, and those should be okay.
In a few days, I would give just the LIGHTEST foliar feed of 1/4 strength complete grow fert with micronutes to try and green-up the plants until they do get around to growing out of the sensitivity. I think they will all survive if you flush some of that fert out of there.

Thanks for all the advice everyone.

I have a new nugget of info on my baby's.
I had someone watch them for me while I was out of town for 10 days and the were watered with fresh tap water. It was not set out for 24 hours so let the chlorine evaporate and the temps were prob pretty low as well.

Could this have caused any of this?

So should I still flush them?

Thanks again.

It is 99% certain that your tap water is not the issue. It almost never is, and most cities now use Chloramine instead of Chlorine, and the only way to get it out of the water is by charcoal-filtering. You don't have to leave tap water sitting out.

Yes, flush them very gently with plain tap water next time they are thirsty and due for a watering. You can use a squeeze-bottle like a ketchup dispenser if you want to avoid messing with the roots too much. Try to get at least twice the volume of the pot to run out the holes in the bottom, or up to 3x. Then give the light foliar feed and let them soil dry back out slightly.

Thanks again for the help.

I'm glad you also cleared up some other bad advice about the water.

Is there a brand you like stinkyattic?

For soil?
Starting plants, I use Farffards seedling mix from the farmers co-op. Another outstanding soil is the Canna Bio living soil, whcih is the most amazing grow medium, I just want to pour it on the living room floor and plant grass seed, it smells so good. I just had a chance to play with it for the first time ever... mmmmm.....
But start your seeds in Seedling Mix El Cheapo and get into the bagged media once your plants are established.
