large tunnels being dug through soil from the drainage hole

im having some problems in my closet i have 11 plants at various stages of flowering ive recently started waking up to find large piles of soil outside the drainage holes and 4 to 6 inch tunnels dug through the soil has anyone experienced this before and if so what would be the cause the first thing i thought was mice but havnt seen any in my place
also is this going to cause alot of stress on my plant i cant afford to turn hermie i have a large shiva skunk 2wks from finish and she was the recent victim this mornin it almost seems as if w.e it is is eating the roots as the soil piles contain no roots

I'd get some mouse traps in there really quick.. Obviously it must be some sort of a small animal burrowing into your soil. I don't think there are many insects that would bother to dig a 6 inch wide tunnel. Could be a rat if the hole is up to 6 inches wide... Maybe the soil is nice and warm for them.

but i do agree with you that it may be a small animal/rodent i havnt seen any droppings anywhere tho ive been floating my pots up off the ground with smaller pots underneath its seemed to work for w.e it is getting at them but it figured a way somehow to get into my largest resin filled plant that has 2 wks to go outa all to hit lol
