Isreal will attack Iran's nuclear sites.
Iran will launch missiles against Isreal and also against American targets in Iraq and Afghanistan, and will sink some American Navy ships in the Gulf, and will shut the straits of Hormuz.
America will bomb and invade Iran.
Other Arab nations will jump in to attack Isreal.
The region will erupt in war.
Oil will jump to $250 a barrel.
The world economy will crash.
All major nations with a stake, including NATO, Russia, and China, will enter the fight.
In a year we will all be fighting over rats to eat.
Brace yourselves for an epic disaster the likes of which no one has ever seen.

Oh, come on now, that's just silly...
Ha ha! I'm not really serious about my disaster prediction. But this situation with Isreal and Iran is a dangerous one. I get the impression that like WWI, we are just drifting into something bigger than we can imagine, and no one is really trying that hard to stop it. There are a lot of overlapping alliances that could quickly draw a lot of parties into a war, if a wider war to break out in that region. And there are lot of very powerful interests who have competing agendas in that area, including the US, NATO, Russia and China. If Iran wanted to, it could easily close the Straits of Hormuz, and that would be very very serious for the world economy.
Things like the Great Depression and the World Wars seem like a long time ago, but they weren't. Something like that could happen again. |

It would be so nice to have someone as intelligent as him as our president. I like looking at things 'the Ron Paul' way, it makes much more sense. Also, I think a war with Iran is very avoidable, and given the fact that in order for me to get my driver's license last year I had to sign up for selective service, I certainly don't want to see us go into a draft..I mean a war with Iran.

you know right.. everyday theres more proof that we are losing friends... We used to have over 3000 troops in pakistan, now they are doing press releases saying no us military will be allowed to hunt for osama? The base of all this trouble is israel and its BS, why we continue to kiss there ass is beyond me.
