I don't get how people are supposed to approve or disapprove it seeing as its like 8000 some pages and what not(according to the daily show 70lbs. lol) but are we supposed to think that all member of congress read this 8000 page thing, how do we know there aren't mistakes and blunders amidst the 8000 pages. I just hope Obama either does something, or leaves.

Just imagine the news coverage( weeks and weeks) and lawsuits and juidicial hearings if 30 or so southern schools were posting videos of kids singing praise to George Bush....with lyrics like ' George Bush is coming for equal work and equal pay mmmmhmmmm mmmhhmmmm, lockin up fascits for what they say mmmmhhmmmmm."

What is your age? I learned it as well but I am 41. I graduated just about the time the fascists were taking over the school systems.

You know it's a curious thing. People on the left, of which I have many friends, seem to call us extremists on the right. They think our government is incapable of being as brutal and deceptive as 3rd world governments. Unless it's a conservative in office. In that scenario, America is a war mongering tyrannical regime needing to be brought down.

They call conservatives Nazi's and Fascists. Showing their ignorance because those are examples of extreme Leftists. But since schools don't teach history or government any longer they wouldn't know that.

I think we had to take a federal standardised test for it in the third grade, so I'm sure we all had to learn it back then but I still remember actually thinking this is kinda cool. much more interesting than the other stuff we were learning back then. i grew up and went to school in Bumfoughk, Missouri , way out in the sticks.

you may be right, they just keep trying to out do the last congress. congress is kinda like Microsoft Windows. it is alway corrupt but at times it gets so bad you have to shut it down and meticulously dig into the cracks and crevices to find all the bullsh*t that has accumulated.

What is wrong with pointing out the truth. Can Pelosi or any one else seriously dispute the fact that he was right with he made that outburst during the Obama speach?

I think there should be more of that, like in Parliament. If they act like fools they should be treated as such. Americans are sooooooooooo thin skinned nowadays.

Don't I know it. Last week I had to sit through a 2 hour "anti-harassment" class for my company. It was required for all employee's. Talk about a mess of worthless overly sensitive drivel. They even broke it down to classifications of "visual harassment" Now what the F is that? Essentially anyone can accuse anyone else of harassment based on a freaking LOOK!!! we're doomed.

where are we supposed to start when we want to figure out the list of lies? how far back must we go? we are used to our government lying to us, but there are just so many of them lately. it wasn't so long ago that people were chanting how bush lied and people died, but we are now watching the lies of our representatives killing an ideal and an entire nation. over the last few years the democratic party has ridden an unpopular war to victory, using tired marxist rhetoric and similar drivel, and the people just ate it up. we knew they were liars, but we just couldn't help ourselves. we knew we needed a change and our years of indoctrination led us to believe that a black man or a woman or just anything other than another old white man was going to give it to us. well, i guess we were wrong. led by a woman, the senate has brought us to the point of bankruptcy and the house has followed suit. led by a black man, this administration has sent our nation spinning dizzily toward the bottom of the barrel and done more in less than one year to stifle the concepts of personal responsibility and the supremacy of the individual than any of the past administrations in their entire terms. i guess treason and corruption know no gender or skin color.
