does anyone have any idea if eating weed in raw cookie dough would do anything?

nah it prolly wouldnt do anything because the THC has to be heat activated. would taste good though.

I doubt he was legitly high. not only does THC need to be heat activated it has to be extracted by something like fat or alcohol. You straight up eat the weed you're not going to get high. your friend is probably one of those people that pretend they're high when they're not, or drunk when they're not.

This subject always confuses me. So many people say you can get high from just eating buds, yet others swear blind you have to cook it.

I'm 100% positive my friend wouldn't lie about something like that, nor does he pretend to be higher/more drunk than he really is. He doesn't even smoke weed and would not have a reason to lie about being high. He has smoked weed before and knows what being high is like..

that link is pretty interesting, i never knew about 11-OH-*9-THC...so maybe i could be wrong, but the paragraph isnt really specific enough. It says orally but are they implying that its already been cooked in to something? Anyways ill look more in to it...sorry for doubting your friend but im still not all the way convinced eating straight weed will get you high.

one time, after school (lets say about 2 30ish) i came home and i had a gram of weed i didnt feel like smoking, so i drank it down with water like a pill, and i didnt feel anything all day, which i was pretty mad about and thought it sucked that i wasted that weed, but when i woke up in the morning i was sooo fucking high, ive never been that high before in my life, and i smoke alottt

Im almost 100 percent sure you have to cook weed to get high. Just read all the other threads in the recipe section and you'll find that out. You'd be surprised how much you can trick your mind into believing your high.

yeah for marijuana to work in food it needs to be cooked (fried, baked, grileed) for the thc to release...but heres a better idea, u smoke a fatass joint and eat that cookie dough YUMM
