How I have had success is just
1) Preheat oven to 325-350
2)get two crackers (I use Matza because they are huge)
3)put peanut butter (I use Skippy's organic/natural peanut butter because it has lots of fat) on one side of two crackers, enough to cover the surface and a bit more.
4) I use kief on my firecrackers, but bud works too. Use about a gram or so, however much you would use in a joint. Sprinkle it on each side of the cracker with peanut butter.
5) I smoosh the PB sides together to form a PB+weed sandwich
6) Put the sandwich on a sheet on tin foil and fold the tin foil to create an air tight seal. I set a cracker on the tin foil in the center then fold the foil in half with the cracker in the middle. I then roll each side in towards the cracker so it is air tight and 1 layer thick around most of the cracker. (see pic)
7) Bake for about 25 minutes @ 325-350.
8) Let cool for 5-10 minutes
9) Eat with a beverage to wash down all the peanut butter.
It doesn't smell when you bake it, just peanut butter if anything. I didn't seal it all the way my first time and my kitchen smelled like peanut butter.
Also remember that consuming sugars and vitamin C will bring down your high incase you are tripping balls from them.
