If we can't get mids or dank and have to resort to reggie, we make hash oil. We used the method were we strained Isopropyl alcohol through weed in a coffee filter repeatedly then heated in a glass bowl in a pot of water on the stove until the alcohol evaporated.

Now however we go through these exact steps.

pot with water-third to half as high as your heat-resistant bowl

We use 91% isopropyl alcohol. we only use about a third of a cup of alcohol. We take two coffee filters and place 3.5 grams on top.

we use a funnel to pour the alcohol through the bud and coffee filters from one bowl to the other. we repeat this five times to each bowl.

dump the weed and if it isn't already in it, the alcohol/thc mixture into the heat-resistant bowl.

place the heat resistant bowl in the pot of water and turn on low-med heat. turn your stove vent on high. and stay next to it the entire time with something you could quickly place over the bowl to stop oxygen from getting to it in case a fire starts.

as it slowly evaporates down, youll see a green resin on the sides, I usually push it back down but its up to you.

when it gets close to being done, the bud at the bottom will start to turn a yellow-gold color with some brown covering it all. scrape all of the bud and resin off the bottom of the bowl and get to tokin!


The batch we made was with a dime of reggie, and the four of us just smoked three small bowls in a bubbler. it tastes much better than before, and we are stoned as hell. we still have about 3/4 of the dime left.

nice. have you guys tried to use grain alcohol aka "everclear" instead of isoproal? i like it better.

grain alcohol is actually edible. i have used it and it works. i advise to switch to everclear, aka, "white lightening".
