So, I've been all over the internet for at least an hour and I must have looked at about 20 "hash" brownie recipes that call for buds cooked into oil or butter, then added to a brownie mix.

I have about 4oz of hash. I don't have any buds. Can I cook the hash into the vegetable oil? If so, how much do I use. For potency, I have no idea how much has equals the same potency in buds. Can anyone help?

Yes, you can use hash instead bud. In fact, the edibles made with hash are better than the ones made with bud, cause they are purer.

For the amount of hash you need... when i make edibles i use something like 6-10x the amount of hash i would usually smoke. Note that this amount is for one person, and for one dose, what means if i make a batch of brownies with this amount of hash, i would need to eat the entire batch to get high. If you were to make it for more people, or for several doses in a batch, multiply the amount of hash properly.

Remember that edibles works better (sometimes only work) when eaten with an empty stomach, and that it takes some hours 2-4 to kick in.

knife rips r probably my fav way to consume hash by its self. knock the bottom out of a glass bottle throw it is the freezer for a bit. nice cold smooth hits.

I'd like to see a picture of 4oz of hash. I dont think ive ever seen that much.

You lucky bastard!! just kidding, yes it can be cooked with. It will absorb into oil in the same way. As far as amounts you will have to judge that your self, depending on the potency of the hash which varies widely from totaly stand up stuf to near complete bullshit. I would start conservatley as an over buzz is not really pleasant.

I wouldn't think you would need more than a gram of hash in a brownie mix. When I make honey oil I end up with about 1 ot 1 1/2 grams of hash per ounce of weed. And I put 1/4 to 1/2 ounce of weed in my brownies depending on how potent I want them. So I would think 1 gram of hash would probably work good.

thx guys. I'll try 1g in a small pan of brownie mix and see how it goes from there. Ideally I like 1 brownie = 1 dose potency. We'll see how it goes.

The method I use to make edible uses a form a hash and the potency is thru the roof. I think a 1g'er is a good place to start1

when i have made hash oil (honey oil) treats i typically use one tenth a gram as a dose but brick hash (cold water extraction or silk screen dry extraction) is about half the potency and thus means double it. These doses are for an avg. smoker. My personal treats I usually triple or quadruple the dose it depends on what your price to produce the hash is and if youre planning to profit from it or are just looking to have a real hash experience. how you feel about the taste of hash and what your tolerance is or the people who will be partaking in the treats tolerance is. There are many factors that come into play.

Hey I am a newbie. am about, this very moment to make some vanilla cup cakes with approx. 3gm solid. Its an ok buzz to smoke but cant smoke anymore, my lungs wont take it. Medicinal purposes exceeds (just) gettin high purposes. I have CRPS and my consultant recommends personally that if you can use hash as pain relief its way less toxic than opioid prescription medication. am on my way to the kitchen....NOW.

What would you guys say works best for brownies... cooking it in oil with hash, green, kif, or hash oil. have you guys found that it works better to make the cannabutter in a crock pot with water... or making pot flour. and ive even heard of people straight out adding kif to the mix... but ive heard that it needs to connect with the oil or butter someway and that the heat spread the process. Right?

Ive made brownies once using the bud veg. oil method and i simmered it on low for about an hour and me and two other buddies but in a 1/2 oz of mids and about a 1/4 oz of vaped bud. The shit turned out decent especially for a my first time. I got about 5-6 highs from my third of the brownies and they lasted for about 4 hours each. The only thing is that it wasn't very efficient because we didn't have a cheese cloth or garlic press. are there any other ways to be more effecient, like keep a top on the bud and butter when simmering or something?

Whenever I have cooked cannabis I have simply ground down the grass/ hash and added it to the mix , the heat of the oven is sufficient to activate the THC.

A good electric coffee grinder will turn any ganja in to dust.
