If you use some premature buds from the bottom sites of the plants it will come out gold! Well every time I made hash oil with the flowers it came out gold. Also different texture too. More crumbly than oily. Could also be that I only shook the mixture for NO MORE than 20 sec.
This is how I did mine...... Easiest way to make hash! Quick Wash ISO!

Nice!!! Those are some sweet pictures you have in your guide there!!!
I find that if I use an percentage of ISO besides 99% the flakier the oil is. Also, if I leave the oil sit and do not scrape it when it's warm I find it gets extremely flaky.  They are basically the same guide though, props!!!! Happy Tokin!

Hash oil is my favorite! I have done enough ISO, and just tried BHO for the first time, w/ just trim and crap that didn't make the grade to go to smokeables. Compared to ISo, I thought that the BHO was easier, tastes better, and was more potent. BUt it could be the difference in matierial used and other factors. Will probably try the ISO again too, I have a hard time finding the 99% stuff, best I get is 91% and too much fucking water for me in there. I have also done a load of bubble, and prefer the BHO to that in all areas, ease to make, etc....

What you can't see, is that it was kinda tricky to take the pictures, I could handle it, only for seconds at a time, before it would just turn to goo, so fuck w/ it stop, fuck w/ it stop, and so on, and it was tricky to take the pictures. Although it looks somewhat solid, I could put it down and leave it in any shape, I liked to make cubes, towers and shit w/ it, come back the next day and it's a perfect circle, looks like a puddle kind of, but I can scrape it up in one shot, and roll it on my finger tips and it would turn from the consistency of like a hard candy, to thick honey real quick, seconds.. Used vector, turkey baster, and my stunning good looks to pull that off. Can't wait to make some more.

Recently did a BHO extraction.
In the picture there are paintbrush tubes, I didn't use one of these instead I used a ratchet extender and filled that with weed instead. Just used a couple nugs I had laying around and threw some roach papers in for the hell of it. ingredients.jpg butane.jpg tubepacked.jpg whatIrinsed.jpg When I pushed the butane through I was kind of in a hurry so it sprayed everywhere, and eventually my hand froze through the oven mitt I was using to hold the thing and it ripped a piece of my skin off, haha better luck next time haha. Actually pleased with the results for how little I rinsed. Testing it out in a bit. results.jpg  Could someone move this to the right forum as well please?
