I live in an apartment building, with vents that go into the central system in every apartment.... So if I were to try to make Cannabutter or oil, the entire place would stink to high heaven.....

Does anyone have a way to make cannaoil without it smelling up the place.... I thought about having the oil in a mason jar or something, and just sitting in a crock pot of simmering water for a few hours, but I'm not sure how this would work in practice.... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Learn to cook something that is big on onions or garlic and that takes longer to cook than the butter or oil does. That way your competing smell will start before and end after any other aroma that may be in your kitchen.
