I just tried making hot chocolate. Here is what I put in it:

2 cups water
1.5 tbsp butter
4 tbsp instant hot cocoa mix (Swiss Miss brand)
1/2 cup soy milk
1/2 tsp buds and a few stray stems (the amount I would smoke normally to get a moderate high)

I simmered the water and butter with the cannabis coursely crushed in a mesh tea ball for about 5-10 minutes. Then I added the chocolate mix and continued cooking & stirring over medium heat for another 5-10 minutes. Finally I stirred in the soy milk, let it heat, and poured it into a mug.

That was about an hour and a half ago. I drank it on an empty stomach. I think I am starting to feel it, but it's not a very strong high.

Do you think I need more? Will it kick in later? How long should it take before I feel effects from eating?

I don't want to cop out and smoke just because I am impatient.

i think you may have used to lil you usually need to atleast double what you would smoke if your going to cook, if not more. if u find a good setup should let me knw.

Yeah, it didn't really work. Then I made cheese crackers in the microwave and that was better... but I think I'm going to stick to smoking, because after the cheese crackers, I made peanut butter toast and that didn't seem to do very much either.
