As I've never really made pot brownies, I am curious...how many brownies are typically needed to get you stoned, like one, a couple, or several servings?

Well, you only need a very small amount of cannabis to get high through eating it. A normal joint for me would be enough to make about 5 brownies...

And you should only take 1 at a time. You need less weed to get high eating, and the high is much much more potent than smoking, so make it, and then be careful, dont eat too much and have a cow man.

yeah man listen to LIP, i made a tray of brownies with 5 grams, i gave a few friends a couple then split the rest of the tray with a mate, we had it all at once and we were high as fuck for bout 24 hours, it was awesome but annoying, we needed to come down for work but in the end i had to do office work high and he had to go to subway stoned out of his mind, he was too high to even drive (this was over 12 hours after eating)

so eat one at a time, it may take about 40 minutes to kick in, just wait it out

(also gotta say i love the name, is Zohar as in The Zohar, the book, similar to Kabbalah, or does it have some other meaning im not aware of?)

This is some good advice. I had thought you needed the same or more, but I need very little at all.

Of course you want to calculate it based on how much THC is in each brownie. It's very easy to overdo it, you may like that or not!

What would others say about taking what you would smoke and dividing it by two?

Sounds like a good estimate, although it's not a light refreshed stone, it'd be a proper stoned high, enjoyable, but maybe too much for walking around and being somewhere public, like work.

Thanks for the advice so far. I am planning to cook some brownies for a new year's party (no smoking @ the party, hence the brownies). Myself and possibly one or two other people are smokers at the party, how much weed would I need to make a decent batch of brownies...also, if anyone can point me toward any good resources for cooking w/ weed I'd appreciate it very much. Oh, my name Zohar is from a game called Vandal Hearts for the PSX. He was some old guy trapped in a pocket of time outside the normal boundries or reality. He eventually joins the party and kicks ass with explosions and stuff. He probably was baked all the time due to his location, I'd smoke a lot of blunts if I was stuck in alone in a pocket universe.
