Thread: tired of pills

hello im 37 male from rhode island i suffer from medical problems which are qualifing for medical card the problem is that my doctors both primary and ortho surgen when i discuused with them seem like they would lose money from pill companys for not prescribing enough pills to there patients quite frankly im tired of being a pill test monkey try this for a couple weeks try this one now im done with the pills they do nothing but help a little than when asked which one helps how am i to know i take 5 kinds daily pills for ms,and for seizures which might i ad i have never had either im told that they are the strongest medicines to relax muscle spasm and nerve pain ive been suffering for a year or two now with no relieve so if ne 1 can help me out with a name of a doctor who is not only in medical field to make bonus money from the pill companys for writing hundreds of scripts rather then helping there patients to feel more confortabl with there day to day life would be nice thank you and yes i e mailed the site that was mentioned in a diferent forum as well

I am in a similiar situation as you are, taking high doses of oxy for m spine. What was the site that you referred to in your post. I am looking for other options as well.

I think there is a definite link between Dr's, and the Big Pharmaceutical interests here I am totally disabled and just made the decision to get a MM card reluctantly. I have watched pill companies buy Dr's lunch daily and personally bring it to the offices of the Dr's that "work' with them.
The minute you see this or other impropriety it is time to kick that Dr to the curb as they are only in this for themselves and do not care one bit about a patient except for his insurance and co-pay. I have seen it all over the past 10 years and am thoroughly disgusted with most. We must always advocate for ourselves on all fronts or risk being marginalized and treated poorly.
