Is Durban Poison really 100% Sativa?

I went to one of my local dispensary and picked up some Durban Poison. The budtender that helped me told me it was 100% sativa from somewhere in Africa.

How accurate was what he told me?

    Just Curious.

    Your budtender is well informed.

Durban Poison is one of the most powerful sativas that we carry on our shelves.

When I budtend, I describe it like a cup of coffee. I also caution patients that if they tend to have anxiety or paranoia when using marijuana, Durban Poison is perhaps not the best choice because it is very intense and can exacerbate those feelings.

If you like sativas that put a jump in your step and make you want to DO something, Durban is a sure bet.

The strain is originally from Southern Africa

I love the smell too, almost like licorice or anise seed. MMM MMJ

omgs... and you should see the nugs.... trichome city! The color/smell/taste/trichome amount are intense.... intense like the high. I picked it up in Garden Grove Calif. at CannaClinic of Garden Grove. The only thing I do not like as much about it is that the duration is too short... but isn't it always?

    Too true.

Sativas tend to have a shorter high.

Indicas are higher in CBD and that slows the metabolization of THC which is why indicas tend to be creepers and last longer.

    WOW,... spameriffic!!!!!

Looks like the new forum software hasn't blocked the spammers?

None the less,.... it has always been my understanding that Durban was about a 95% Sativa hybrid, leaning towards the more pure sativa lineage.......

Man I love me some Durban. Although I have had some that wasn't grown to its prime. I has a weird taste and smell. I describe it as bad meat.
