Only a weak-minded person would feel "bullied" by another persons honest proselytizing. Some might get slightly annoyed by it, but often recognize that the proselytizer is genuinely concerned about the fate of other people and will simply ignore the preaching. More often than not, it's the person who's preaching that's being bullied by angry nonbelievers who don't think they should have a right to practice their faith or freedom of speech.

Only concerned while thinking that their own fear translates to others. We are all different and if given the chance (from birth onwards) will think for ourselves and come up with unique ideas of what life is about.

From the point of view of Iman who reads a chapter of the Bible a day, I can't vote one way or another because from my point of view simply accepting Christ isn't enough. With this mindset people can murder, rape, practice sexual deviance etcetc every day over and over and simply by accepting Christ as their savior will be redeemed, which is odd to say the least. Of course my views on the Bible might be somewhat different than a follower of the Vatican and some of these other perverse alterations of Christianity that thump on the scriptures that suit their needs or wants, and omit or ignore what they feel fit.

Out of fairness, because I know how people just love to point that he's in prison, Hovind is there for tax evasion... not anything related to his theories or teachings. A lot of people throw out the word "fraud" like it has something to do with his faith or theories, but that's not the case. He didn't pay his taxes, and got reamed by the IRS for it. Anyway, if you're an atheist, you obviously won't agree with his worldview... but if you're a Christian, his theories are pretty unique and intriguing.

I know what he's in prison for (58 federal counts, including twelve tax offenses, one count of obstructing federal agents and forty-five counts of structuring cash transactions - or 'smurfing') and although it might not directly relate to the topic at hand it does give you an idea of how trustworthy his character is, or isn't in this case.

He can't go to prison for his 'theories' - unless comedy is now a crime.

Again, in all fairness, people do make mistakes, bad choices, errors in judgment, etc., and many of those people wind up paying the price for it. Hovind is a prime example of that. A good Christian is willing to forgive a person for mistakes they've made if they're truly repentant... and I'm willing to bet that Hovind is really wishing he'd have just gone ahead and paid his taxes right now.

On a side note, I am a little curious about what those tribesmen in Africa claimed to have seen out in that swamp. I'm not saying it was a dinosaur, but God only knows what might be lurking out in the last few places on Earth where humans haven't interfered with their habitat. I don't know about you, but if there are some mini-dinosaurs running around I think we should tame and domesticate them.... screw a rottweiler, I'd let a tyranosaurus guard my house anyday!

Not religious, but i voted yes. Im surprised their is not more people who don't believe in god. Religion kinda fell off in America from what it seems like to me. I've probably been to church twice in my life other than funerals. I dont know what to believe. Just have good morals, And what comes around goes around. Yah shit happens for a reason.
