Okay guys, I have been posting on this forum of recent, but have yet to start a thread of my own. So just for the fun of it, I decided to do so. Here goes my question.

If you were asked to state the one thing that you feel the strongest as to why God does not exist what would you say? I'm not looking for an entire paragraph. Just give me your strongest feeling in one sentence. Thanks for playing

Examples:
God does not exist cause I have never seen him.
God does not exits cause there's no peace on Earth.

God could not exist because his nature (being all- good –powerful and-knowing) are incompatable with our world, which is full of evil

This is, the problem of evil

God does not exist because if he did, he would never allow all this killing in his name to continue.

God does not exist because his 'rules' make many good people unhappy (depending on the religion: unallowing divorce, gay marriage, birth control, premarital sex, etc... not to mention persecuting people of other religions eg. pagans back in the day).

Because god never existed.

God does exist. And, one day, "the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea."

God does not exist becuase god is an Idea, there is no proof of him yet and I doubt there ever will be.

Remember, God (or by whatever name you call the force/energy responsible for all of creation) is beyond comprehension by our relatively small and puny intellects. In order to relate to such an incomprehensible/unimaginable energy we create personifications such as God(s), angels, ect. All these concepts, whether you realize it or not, are of one and the same.

By taking the personifications too far and personally we create human fallacies which are incompatible with logic and science.

well what happens to our soul and how do you know that you cant just say that

god does not exist because i dont know whether it exists or not

God did not create Man- Man created God.

well you might be right but there is no way for anyone to know what happens for sure but what i do know is i am myself as a soul that exists now but what troubles my mind is i have no idea what will happen to my soul when i die even if we disappear forever we still have to be somewhere right?? <<you cannot answer that question only god himself can do that but it doesnt matter because he does not exist in our lives.

so what im getting at is there is no way to know the answer to this kind of questions you just have to wait and see

"we" don't have to be anywhere actually. So far as we know, the human condition is nothing but a collection of billions of physical and mental processes. When the person dies, those processes all break down and the intricate system falls apart, and "we" fall apart into the decaying matter with everything else in existence. Just as if we took a car apart and returned all it's components back to the earth to the elemental level, the car would no longer exist.

Nobody can definatively answer any question in regards to a process unseen, as scientifically minded people would leave open the possibility of absolutely anything. But, until there is evidence to support the existence of something which has no evidence for its existence, there is no viable reason to believe it exists.

I've heard many people claiming that Atheism is a religion because it holds a "belief" that there is no god. But it is not a religion because it does not actualy deny the possibility of god, nor does an objective atheist actually believe there is no god. They would only assert that belief in god is illogical unless there is some reason to believe it. For an atheist, that reason is still pending.

god dosent exist because humans originally evolved from simple organic molecules containing carbon. They found that three amino acids (amino acids constitute the basic elements of proteins, which are the building blocks of living cells) were synthesized.
