Well, a while back around Christmas time I ordered a Honey Bee B.H.O. tube after knowing about it through Cannabis Culture. I didn't feel like building my own and besides, I found it nearly impossible to find a stainless steel turkey baster to use as a tube. After ordering the Honey Bee it sat it my room for a bit because I had to find some good quality triple refined butane. That too proved hard to find, so I turned to the Net and ordered some King Butane which has been spoken highly of in the concentrate world. So here it is, my first attempt at concentrating cannabis into honey oil. The material I used totalled up to almost an oz. Couldn't get a whole one in the tube even though the instructions say it will fit. And here's the kicker: I used mostly kifed material. Meaning I had already made hash out of the majority of what I put through the tube. Obviously my screening did not dislodge all of the trichomes on the plant matter as this honey oil turned out dank! In addition to the kifed material I also used about .5 gram of unrefined kif/hash. I couldn't be more happy. This stuff is incredibly strong, and I've smoked my fair share of dank kind. Peace everyone. Anyone can make the honey!

    Tray Shots

You might have noticed by now that a few of my shots have been taken w/ the pyrex tray of honey extract on my bluejeans. Sorry if it's a little unproffesional, but I think it also brings out the true color of the oil. Here are some awesome full tray shots. Peace. P.S. Sprry for all the posts in a row, but I wanted to give everyone in the forums some nice eye candy to drool over. Man if you could only smell the way this oil smells. The definition of dank. The shit is overpowering.

    Hey Again Guys...

Thanks for the words of appreciation everyone. Hey Hungry, before you consider making honey oil you should look around a bit on the net and check out other people's experiences like mine a little more. Another thing, yeah I like the taste of honey too, but I assure you this is in no way related to the delicious topping that you apply to your flapjacks and other breakfast foods. The term honey oil comes from the color of the oil. Let me clarify for everyone who doesn't know what they're looking at. After I filled my honey oil tube up with herb and hash, I shot butane gas through the tube (OUTDOORS). The butane melts all of the crystals off the plant material and flows through the filter end of the tube as a liquid. After the 'tane evaporates completely, you're left with smokeable "honey oil." Honey oil is the most potent form of cannabis on the face of the earth. The danker the material you use in the extraction, the danker your oil will be. For all you real psychonauts out there, try using pure crystals/kif in your next extraction!

    Process...

Sorry I didn't take pics so I could show you the whole process from step one. When I did the extraction I was outdoors with goggles and a face mask on and I really had my hands full with one can of butane in one hand and the Honey Bee in the other. It's really quite simple though and I can explain it pretty quickly. Pictures of the honey oil tube can be found on almost any online headshop. It's nothing fancy looking, I assure you. For the extraction you must have 3g-28g according to the instructions in the Honey Bee(Although 28g didn't entirely fit in the bee - a few grams shy of that I'd say.). The herb must be completely dry. I let my herb sit in a cardboard box for a week or so. Then the herb must be ground into dust. The herb is then loosely inserted into the Honey Bee - the included filter is inserted into the end-cap - then the end cap is screwed on. Next I aquired 2 170gram bottles of triple-refined butane gas - the kind for lighter refills - In addition you get two pyrex dishes. The Bee Tube is held filter side down - One bottle of 'tane is inserted into the tiny hole at the opposite end of the Honey Bee and pressed down, releasing the butane gas thru the tube and washing the resin glands off the plant matter as a liquid through the filter end and then into the pyrex dish. After the butane bottle is empty you wait 30 seconds to remove it, and then repeat the process into the second pyrex dish for a second grade wash with the remaining 170g bottle of 'tane. After all the butane evaporates from the dish you're left with what you see in the pics above. Most people do a better job at popping their bubbles though while all the butane evaporates. Note what I said above - This extraction was done outdoors! Everyone if you're considering doing your own extractions safety first and do your research. I knew what I was doing even though this was my first time because I took the time to learn how to do this effectively and safely. Peace again.

WHO HASNT MADE HONEY OIL B4? Like common haha.

If your a common smoker, chances are you've smoked it or made it.

I can build a PVC Honey oil pipe, infact I have and I use a foot n' a half tube to fit my finely grounded up greens and then shoot my butaine through.

Looks like some good stuff pt, goodwork.

I think you might have misunderstood my question. When I asked if anyone was making honey oil out there, I meant what I asked, not if you know how to make a PVC extractor (which isn't reccomended! PVC plastic is no good w/ butane - remember - safety first), or about your theory of "if you're a common smoker then chances you've made it or smoked it" (which is probably untrue). So is anyone out there making honey oil or what? If so post up some pics. Trivium you sound like you have a big mouth. Like common (In your own words). Jive Turkey.

    Update...

Here's a scraped up shot of some of the honey oil. This was actually from the second run. Didn't yield much from the second run at all but it was still quite dank colored. Sorry been tokin' the first run of honey. There are pics of that above but not scraped up unfortunately.

Hey Harmonic, why is your honey oil white and not honey colored like the my shots? P.S. above is a new shot of some on a blade.
