Hi, Im new here i don't even know did i post this on right place.
Anyway i had tooth extraction about 60 hours ago and i was wondering can i smoke some. So I had my upper bicuspid tooth pulled out easily and my dentist put a few stitches on that place where tooth was.I came home and bleeding stopped like few hours later and it didnt bleed since then.It hurted me like just first hour or two after extraction. When i came home i just took some pill(no prescription).i didnt get any meds from dentist. Soo since then i didnt take any pills ,no pain,no blood, noo nothing..
Today i started to eat normally like hot food and all that.. and i really really want to smoke.Im heavy smoker I smoke like 2-5g a day usually.
Anyway my plan was to smoke a small joint later but loosen up joint and take light puffs,so i dont have to make that vacuum effect in my mouth..
Tell me what you think is it smart or not cuz' i heard that dry socket is a real pain in the ass.
    Thanks for reading this :).
Aand sorry for a long post and bad english :doublethumbs:

Actually, it's a real pain in the face. :)

Not a smart thing to do, but that's the smart way to do a dumb thing.
Meh, dumb is too strong a word. Let's just call it risky.

Can you get away with it?
    Given those parameters, yes, probably.

I have done so on several occasions. No suction inhale, nasal exhale.
Just be aware that there is some risk involved and the down side can be very down indeed!
I speak from experience as I did have an extraction go sour once.
Bit of food got in it. tried to remove it with a toothpick.
    Do not do that!

I'm with Emilya on this though. I'd wait at least another 12 hours before an attempt just because the cost of losing this bet is quite high.

    Think edibles.

    Aloha,

Back in my day I was in hospital for four wisdom teeth out. I had my friend bring hash and we smoked right there. Yes, you could smoke in hospital in 1969. And I didn't stop when I got out either. I didn't know any better but I was lucky and didn't have any healing up issues.

Thank you all but im stupid af so i did it anyway hahah...I put a piece of wet gauze in my mouth on the place where tooth was and bite it and smoked like that.
Light puffs and exhaled thru my nose.
And after I smoked it , I immediately rinsed my mouth with salt water and brushed my teeth and im okay,no dry socket :) .
But i was paranoid af because that dry socket,I didnt enjoy being high :/

More likely pain meds than paranoia.
Things like Vicodin interfere with pleasure like they do with pain.

    THC works differently.
It distracts from the pain and lets you forget it's there.
Then the pleasure comes right through.

    IMO
