    Reviewed by a university located in Netherlands, studies conducted on Cannabidiol, otherwise known as CBD, have highlighted the compound’s efficacy as an antipsychotic medication.

    The assessed studies conducted by Lillian Kloft, a forensic psychologist, and published by the Maastricht Student Journal of Psychology & Neuroscience, offers pragmatic support for the antipsychotic effects of the CBD cannabinoid and indicates the compound offers “reduced side effects, high tolerability, and superior cost-effectiveness compared to regular antipsychotic medications,” according to the review.
