Hi guys, first timer here need some tips~
I am planning to spare a room to grow using ViaVolt 1000w from Home Depot, but the product label said
    • Dual input voltage, 120-Volt/240-Volt
What does that means? Could I hang 2 ViaVolt into duplex GFCI outlet 120v20a CB and nothing else? or I need to do some special wiring for it to work properly?

I'm no pro, but I have been an electrician, (or someone like him). :D

It simply means that the ballast will work on 120V. Where it will draw ~ 10 amps, or 240V. and draw ~5 amps.

I would NOT plug 2 of them into a 120V. 20A circuit. Not enough "headroom" to be safe.

then if I install 240v 30a CB to power FOUR 1000w ViaVolt Lamp, should I go with 10-2 or 10-3? which one is more safer?
