Not all Dispensaries are created equal

Recently a friend and I made a purchase of Hash.

Combined we have 100 years of experience. The dope was
the worst excuse for hash that either of us had ever encountered.

We went back to the dispensary to complain about the purchase. Telling them
not to sell this stuff, especially to newbies because they may never try hash again.

The clerk said "I don't Smoke"

Wow that will be the first question I'll ask from now on. Do you Smoke?

People that don't smoke should never get a job dispensing anything. How could they
    know anything of value?

My first visit to a legitimate dispensary in my state, was a real let-down. (MA)
Was really psyched that a dispensary had finally opened! WOOHOO! :dancing:

    I left without making a purchase.:wtfsign:
    Nothin' to write home about...

A new Grow/Disp was just approved for construction very near to me.
I'm gonna hope for the best. Maybe this bunch will have a clue...
(or maybe they'll hire an old goat, with half a clue) :D

Our dispensary has unripe buds, medium quality for top dollar. I don't buy much at all.

We've had medical dispensaries in northern Nevada for about a year now.
My wife has had her card for over five years.
Growing your own was the only way to get any unless it was gifted.
Many patients continue to grow their own cuz that's what they're use to doing and they know what strains personally work for them.

We visited the opening of the first dispensary in town and it was nice and professional and all, but we've decided to keep growing. We choose the strains. We do it on our own timeframe.
Works for us. Saves lotsa cash too...

That's what I ran into, as well. All about the cash.
Sad outcome, when bean-counters are runnin' the show.

    Amen.
Smoked some bud with friends last evening... it crackled and popped.
    Yeah, I'll stick to home-grown, thanks. ;)

Good to see ya pokin' around. Hope all's well south of the Mason Dixon.

Tough to stop growing, once you start.
I love my plants. Garden time is therapeutic.
(and yes, saves a boatload of cash) Dispensary prices border on the absurd.

Yeah..EC..Its all good down this way..I just feel for tha Southern Brother's and Sisters in Florida..Now that the med bill passed they have amended it to suit the states plans for monoply on taxing everything..50 grand for a caregivers licenses and there will only be 25 commercial mmj growers to supply 1 million folks in one county in FL alone..Check the bill and amendments online..Crazy shit right there!

Ill stay underground with my shine and cannabis thank ya!

In Vermont the dispensary has a monopoly. They are also "a non-profit" What the patient gets is $400+ /ounce for immature bud of a small selection of strains. NO amber trics on any of the few strains I did try. The weed ain't bad, bad but it isn't worth the ticket.

Just think about the love and care that goes into taking an awesome med to harvest..That being said..Now a pound is worth 4800 to 5400..Thats getting paid for your love right there!

Now it will drop to below 200 an oz and how would a caregiver even survive with paying the state taxes. They would fold..The amendment states you have to have cash to back up the grow and not let you license laps or the mmcp reports it to local police and you are considered an illegal grow..Fuck sakes..

    It's criminal.

Meanwhile, the "criminals" sell the Black Market bud, for $150-200/Oz. (for comparable bud)
Yeah, that'll kill the BM.

That's exactly what they did, in my zip-code, in a sorta roundabout way.
Made so many restrictions on placement, that an industrial area was the only place it was in compliance.
To frost that cake, they made a rule that dispensaries couldn't be within 1500' of each other.
In my lil' town, that means the first one in, will be the only one allowed.
Monopolies usually leave the consumer with the short end of the stick... :(

Their GC says I'm on the short list to be the HVAC guy.
Their environmental engineer seems to know his stuff.
Time will tell. They're hoping to be up and running within a year. Currently, it's just a rocky field.

I just want a place to procure some proper clones...
Is that too much to ask of a dispensary? Geez...

Ditto,.I trade clones with friends.Dispensary's don't do clones,at least the one in Providence doesn't.Couple of friends from near your rock field coming over tomorrow.Brady go BOOM!:)
