I'm a 45 year old male that has decided to try Medicinal Marijuana to treat my anxiety and pain from severe arthritis.
I was taking a lot of ibuprofen and Xanax.

I used to be a heavy pot smoker in my teens and early 20's. I stopped for a number of years and only occasionally took a puff.
I got my medical card and picked up some hybrid sativa/indica blends.
Smoked a small amount and felt great at the time. Very relaxed and no anxiety.
In the morning i started to develop a headache like sensation at the base of my skull.
I didn't smoke that night, but had a little the next. I've now had this pain in the area of my cerebellum for 3 days.
I have not taken any pain medication. (trying to stop taking it so often)
Never have i experienced such a strange sensation, certainly doesn't seem normal.
I know that anxiety can do crazy things to the body, but i honestly dont feel anxious at all.
The brain doesn't have pain receptors and i'm pretty sure there's no sinus back there.
Thought maybe it was a tension type headache with my neck so i sat in the spa for an hour.
It doesn't get any better when i work out either??

Any idea what this could be?

    Guilt? :D

    Sorry, hadda.

But seriously, I have not heard this before.
Pain in that area is usually tension related.
If the hot tub did not help, perhaps an ice pack?

'Twere me, I'd take one Aleve to see if it's inflammation kine pain.
I really doubt if it is cannabis caused.

How about it gang, anyone here ever have these symptoms?

    Wee 'zard
