Got to see Frank with the M O I play in a old rollerskating rink.
    Strange show.
Saw him years later on the Garage Band tour. Still strange, but a lot of fun.:pirate:

Frickin BLAST! Saw him at Polly Pavilion UCLA New Year Eve 77-78. Stood in line for tix a few months earlier singing Zappa tunes and passing dubbies with the rest of the weirdos. Good times. ;)

He was making fun of Ted Nugent and did a guitar solo that put Ted to shame.
Most people don't seem to know how great a guitar player Zappa was. :pirate:

Frank was truly amazing and his sense of humor, omg. Dynamo Hum, Yellow Snow, Why Does It Hurt When I Pee, hysterical. The people who played with him were incredible in their own rights. George Duke, Jean-Luc Ponty, Terry Bozzio, Aynsley Dunbar, Don Preston, Chester Thompson, Steven Vie, The Fowler brothers and the Underwoods. Ruth Underwood could play chords on the vib. Never seen nothing like it. And yeah, Frank could play that get-tar. Nothing like dropping acid, peaking and listening to Lumpy Gravy with headphones on 10. Good times.

My love for classical music took me to groups such as Yes, Genessis, ELP, Gentle Giant, King Crimson, et al but Mozart was the master. Playing this on my tablet today. I got pretty tired of most repetitive songs, 3 chords and a bridge just didn't do a lot for me. Then there's Jazz and Blues...

Haven't heard this in like a hundred years. Good stuff. Time to put on some Stevie Ray.

Too many to pick one. Depends on my mood. Smooth Jazz, Reggae, Soft Rock, Classic Rock. There's a strain for every occasion. Not high, but currently listening to:
