Worth buying a Non-Vloncano Vape
Question for those of you out there who dont quite have the funds for the volcano like myself. Do any of you have some of the less expensive vape's on the market, like the box vape or others that run in the $200ish range. I have read a lot of reviews and people say that these are ok, but what im concerned with is how well they hold up. I have heard a lot that sub-par vape's will work just fine, but they don't last very long, so if there is anyone who has had experiance with it, it would be much appreceated.

You'll probably get the best responses in the Vaporizer sub section which is the sub section of Recreational

I use a $70 vaporizer from eBay that looks like this but digital. It's lasted heavy use through the last few months and is still going strong...

$70 is a damn good price for a vape...especially one that works, even if it's only for a few months.

what i would do it save your $$ man and get a volc, remember you have to live with what you bought, long after you forget how much you paid for it...
I thought the same way you did but I saved and I'm soooooo glad I did! you get what you pay for.

+1 vouch for vapor brothers.
I previously had a vb knock-off, but since I upgraded I've never been happier.
Plus, it saves weed and you can get double stoned by cooking with the vaped leftovers. After a while, it'll pretty much can repay for itself.

Since the OP hasn't posted in 6 months, I don't think he needs your VB plug.

I give another thumbs up to the vapor brothers.
However, if I was looking for a smoking device to last me a long long time, I'd probably fork out the extra for the volcano.

Heat gun/bong setup works great for me - I know they're not for everyone, but it's worth looking into. Much cheaper, & gives fantastic hits.

I've got a vaporbox which is sort of a knockoff vaporbrothers. It has a ceramic heating element. Its supposed to be more consistent in regards to temperature. I've actually found it to be better than a vaporbrothers which I've used a few times.
Anyway, mine is going at least 2 years strong. The heating element has a lifelong warranty but I haven't had to replace it. What I have had to replace at least twice were the glass parts of the whip you actually draw the vapor out of (its the tube part). I guess these things happen though.

There are a lot of shity vaporizers out there. Be careful not to waste your money. If the element looks like a sautering gun don't buy it. Same goes if you have to hold the bowl in place while you wait for it to produce vapors. Volcanos are sooo much more efficient than any other vape I've used. If you can wait and buy a volcano it will pay for itself soon enough in saved weed

as already said, there are a lot of P.O.S. vaporizers on the market ... I highly recommend getting a 'HerbalAire' vaporizer ... it works like the Volcano, is extremely well-constructed, high-quality ... it is every bit as good as a Volcano, for hundreds less ... Google their website for info ...

I just got a digi-vapor, new edition with a temperature regulation fan.
Shit blows me out like a firestone radial.

I can't believe nobody has reccomended the HerbalAire.
In a test against the Volcano (the legendary "best" - and most expensive - vaporizer out there) the HerbalAire was able to squeeze out more THC vapor from the Volcano's spent stuff.
Regardless of the fact that HerbalAire MIGHT be slightly more efficient than the leading brand, HerbalAire is just a good product anyway.
Do some research, go to Youtube and find that test. I could be wrong, but I think it was done at some hugh Pot festival.

I think that's what the boyfriend paid for it, AND it came with a free VaporGene (pocket vaporizer). I think either one you go for will suit you just fine, so you deff have options.

If we're talking bag vapes, I wouldn't trade my herbalAire for a Volcano (unless I sold the 'cano, bought another herbalAire and pocketed the difference ). Certainly nothing at all wrong with the Volcano, you just don't have to spend that much.
Quite a few very reliable whip vapes out there too-Vapor Bros., Vaporwarez, even better-Silver Surfer and its new brother Da Buddha. Others too.
IMO anyone who thinks you need the 'cano to get quality and reliability just isn't informed about the vape market.

Agreed... if you have the money for a 'cano that's great. If you don't there are still great options out there and there's very little reason to save your money for more expensive options... I don't see any reason for someone who smokes regularly to waste any time switching to vapor.
